POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Join us Monday, October 26, for a Spooky & Fun Full Moon Hike at Penasquitos Waterfall Trail 🎃

The canyon has stories. And on the night of the full moon, we’re going in 🌝

Join @campbum + @thegroupsd for our most haunted hike of the year as we take Los Peñasquitos Canyon after dark - one of San Diego’s oldest and most storied wild spaces, with legends that go back centuries. We’ll hike by moonlight, share the local lore and ghost stories that haunt these trails, and let the canyon do the rest.

Costumes are encouraged. Treats will be had. Spooky stories are welcome so bring your best ones.

This is a smaller group experience, which means real conversation, genuine connection, and the kind of night you’ll actually remember. Beginner-friendly pace, kid-friendly vibes, and yes, pets are absolutely welcome to join the haunting.

Space limited to 25. Early Registration Tickets are $15 through October 20. Price increases to $20 beginning October 21, so reserve your place early. 10% of registration fees go back to The Friends of Peñasquitos Canyon.

If our volcano ever erupts, it’s because we stopped hiking it. 🌋😄

Everyone knows we’ve got this ancient volcano at lake Calavera — so we’re keeping it “happy” with hikes like this one with camp bum + the group sd.

Easy-to-moderate, all ages, kids, dogs — and the best kind of networking: real-life conversations while you move, laugh, and breathe.

Big love to camp bum + the group sd for bringing the crew together. Tribe coffee was there too, keeping everyone fueled.
