The 5 Minute Features we do at each chapter have honestly become one of my favorite parts of The Group. Watching two people at each chapter get up in front of the community and tell their story has been pretty amazing. Some people are comfortable speaking. Some are nervous. Some have never done anything like it before. But that’s the point. This isn’t a presentation. You don’t need a PowerPoint. You don’t need to sell anything. You don’t need to be a professional speaker. You just need to be you. It’s five minutes to tell your story, be vulnerable, step outside your comfort zone and connect with the people around you. I’ve watched people grow from doing this. I’ve watched the community rally around them. I’ve watched people in the audience hear something they needed to hear that day. You get support, but you also give support. You inspire people and you leave inspired yourself. So many people have told me, “This is like a mini TEDx Talk.” So I decided it needed a name. GROUPx Talks Five minutes. Your story. Our community. But since The Group has always belonged to the community, I want you guys to help choose the logo. Look through the logos and VOTE for your favorite in the comments. Comment 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 below. Whichever one the community chooses becomes the new GROUPx Talks logo. And if you’ve been sitting there thinking you have a story to tell, maybe it’s time to put your name down for your five minutes. You don’t have to be ready. Sometimes you just have to be willing.

Another beautiful hike in the books ✅🌕✨ This time we walked under the starry night sky and the full moon, hiking 3.5 miles around Lake Hodges in Escondido. I’ve lived here for 9 years and somehow had never been there before 🙄 and wow… what a beautiful reminder that sometimes the magic is literally right in our backyard. There were around 60 of us, all coming together for nature, movement, and connection. I also had the honor of guiding a short mindfulness exercise as a quick nervous system reset before we continued the hike. Such a beautiful night, such good energy, and honestly, we all had a blast. Big shoutout to @campbum and @royalmarketinganddesign for organizing this and for building such a beautiful community around nature and connection. 🌿✨ #divinefeminine #womensevents #nervoussystemregulation #polyvagaltheory #soundhealing #somatichealing

Quite obvious these dogs are loving their pack walks. We love introducing dogs with another dog to help anxious dogs become more comfortable and accommodated with other dogs. #dogwalking #dogtraining #packwalks #trailwalks

If our volcano ever erupts, it’s because we stopped hiking it. 🌋😄 Everyone knows we’ve got this ancient volcano at lake Calavera — so we’re keeping it “happy” with hikes like this one with camp bum + the group sd. Easy-to-moderate, all ages, kids, dogs — and the best kind of networking: real-life conversations while you move, laugh, and breathe. Big love to camp bum + the group sd for bringing the crew together. Tribe coffee was there too, keeping everyone fueled. @thegroupsd @campbum

Kato is one of our very first Trail Pupz! This handsome boy enjoys hikes up Bernardo Peak near Lake Hodges in Escondido, CA. In addition to being cute, this young buck learned how to “Shake” while joining the Trail Pupz crew. Kato is very photogenic and his owners enjoy having their very own personal photo app of their goodest boy as part of the benefits to having Trail Pupz take care of their dog. #dogs #dogsofinstagram #sandiegodogs
