The second intervention of 2026 in the public space of Zurich’s Kaserneareal welcomes Alex Ghandour @ghand_or with Every Time I See You Coming Down These Stairs, You Disappear Delicately (2024-2026). The work unfolds through movement and repetition, creating an environment where memory and release converge.

The performance pays tribute to those who, through dark times, protected the “adorable fire” - a resilient force of love that refuses to be extinguished. Each repeated gesture, each rotation becomes an affirmation of presence, a silent anthem expressing not only the desire to survive but also the longing for something sacred and shared. Together, sound and gesture transcend time, carrying forward a flame that wants to be embraced - a soft yet persistent act of defiance against forgetting, a dance suspended between grief and gratitude.

The intervention is curated by Zaira Oram @zairaoram , Camille Regli @camrgli

We are thrilled to announce our participation in this year’s @baselsocialclub with Zurich-based collective RELAX (chiarenza & hauser & co) and Bieler artist Leolie Greet.

An edition of paper cups infiltrates all the different bars, not as a commodity but a vehicle for thought – a disposable object in a disposable economy. Additionally, the work “human resources” points to the fragile boundary between value and disposability.

Hidden in one of the underground rooms of the vacant office space, Leolie Greet’s video work sweats like an office worker with no AC.

CHAOTIC ARRANGEMENT

Proposed by KRONE COURONNE

As part of the Carte Blanche taking place annually at the Reformierte Kirchgemeinde in Biel/Bienne, KRONE COURONNE invited artist Axel Crettenand @axel.crettenand to present a new version of his apparatus “Chaotic Arrangement”.

This installation interweaves science with a renewed form of spirituality. Through catalytic and thermal processes, the liquid contained within a device transforms information into sound—a choir of voices emerging from an undefined liminal space. Enhanced by the church’s vault, “Chaotic Arrangement” resonates like a mantra throughout the opening hours.

Carte Blanche is an initiative of the Reformed City Church of Biel offering artists a unique space for expression.

In 2026, OTO Sound Museum deepens its commitment to experimental practices that work with and through sound across public and digital space.

This year’s program expands our long-term engagement with Zurich’s historic Zeughausareal, inviting artists to resound the former arsenal through ritual, attunement, and sonic activation.

🏛️ Site-Based Interventions | Zurich – Zeughausareal
Three artistic interventions activate the former arsenal through performative and temporary installations. Grounded in rituality and listening, these works engage with memory, transformation, and the resonance of space.

🎧 Digital Sound Exhibitions | OTO Online
Four new online exhibitions expand the growing field of sonic art in digital environments, building bridges between listeners across geographies.
Listening becomes a form of care.
Sonority becomes a catalyst for connection.

This is not the end.
Last December 2025, we closed our Biel/Bienne chapter, and yesterday we returned the keys 🔑🧡

We feel blessed by our beautiful team, collaborators and all the artists who have worked with us during our 5-year programme, and the community that formed and supported us throughout the years.

KRONE COURONNE continues as a nomadic platform and offers funding and production support to cultural workers. Through punctual exhibitions and events, we will continue our mission to foster an exchange between the different linguistic landscapes of the Swiss contemporary art scene, and beyond.

Onwards and upwards. Stay tuned.

L'exposition Stitches A Haunted House and Other Ghost Stories est ouverte jusqu'au 22 mars à la Villa Bernasconi, Lancy.

Concevoir et monter cette exposition a été un immense plaisir. C'était joyeux, drôle, touchant et stimulant. C'était plein supers rencontres.

L'exposition n'est plus entre nos mains et on espère que vous pourrez la découvrir et la faire exister à travers vos expériences et vos imaginaires.

Un immense merci à toutes les personnes implique-exs dans le projet : artistes, équipe de la Villa, techniciens, partenaires et ami-exs.

Peuplée de présences impalpables, fragiles et inquiétantes, la Villa Bernasconi présente l’exposition 𝘚𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴: 𝘈 𝘏𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘎𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴, proposée par Gabrielle Boder, Tadeo Kohan, Camille Regli (@collectifdetente).
Dans la continuité du projet curatorial 𝘚𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴 initié en 2020, l’exposition explore ici les potentialités spectrales du textile.
Habillant l’invisible pour lui donner forme, le tissu devient messager entre les mondes, porteur d’histoires suspendues et de mémoires oubliées…

Inhabited by intangible, fragile and disturbing presences, the Villa Bernasconi hosts the exhibition « Stitches: A Haunted House and Other Ghost Stories » curated by Gabrielle Boder, Tadeo Kohan and Camille Regli (@collectifdetente).
The exhibition explores the spectral potential of textiles and is a continuation of the curatorial project « Stitches » initiated in 2020.
By draping the invisible and giving it shape, fabric builds a bridge between worlds, reviving hidden stories and forgotten memories.
