I was face-to-face with a woman whom I have adored, admired and respected, from afar, for a long time! My day was made when I met THEE Queen @violadavis at her highly-anticipated, book release/signing of “Judge Stone” written with Mr. James Patterson. I can’t think of too much that would top a day with 77-degree weather, a good, ole’ “kiki” with Mr. Patterson and an opportunity to let Queen V. know how much of an inspiration she is to me! Whether we shared a glance or a smile, I left her presence feeling seen. 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 by @candygurl1908

I’m so grateful to have been in the number at @mangobaynyc, a Michelin Guide Restaurant, for “Beyond the Pour”, a black-owned wine and Afro-Caribbean dining experience hosted by @flexaleo in celebration of Black History Month! The wonderful ambiance, celebrations, cuisine and wine education/pairings, host and people made the evening one to remember.

So grateful to God for the love I receive and extend to others. Since time, unlike money, is the only resource we can’t get back, the presence of others is a present I don’t take for granted. I hope everyone enjoyed a great weekend and understands that love is to be lived every, single day not just celebrated on Valentine’s Day! ❤️

So grateful to @1949_winehouse and Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated for hosting Founders’ Day 2026! It was sheer JOY celebrating J15 with my Golden Soror Mommy and other Sorors from my home chapter.
