Could hardly decide on 20 picture highlights, let alone words for this year’s autumn UP trip. Checked every box we could in our week of time. One of these days, there be any more of me left to take back below the bridge.
Certainly no skin left on my fingers at least, after I’ve burned it all off boiling water for our camp shower
The good 📸 s were thanks to @haggard511

Glad to be back at Mid Ohio vintage days again this year. Just a bonus I was able to successfully race for my first time. An all out incredible weekend and I’m already excited to do it again next year. Hats off to my clapped out ol trail bike that took everything I threw at it. Vintage days is a magical experience

Thanks to the boys for all your help on my bike and getting me mentally prepared. Thanks to @haggard511 for taking some really great pics of us racing. Thanks to everyone else including smiley for keeping camp a comfy place to relax and cool off.

See you in the next round, Rusty boy. 2008-2026. 18 years. Can never be upset about that. Wish I had more pictures of him as a little cotton ball of a kitten, but those are all probably buried away on dusty desktop computers and hard copy photo albums. To a fantastic cat and member of the Epler family. We’ll miss you Rusty by @candyman__eps

Celebrating a decade of gasoline and light beer fueled belly laughter. If you know how to get here, you’re invited.
If you don’t, well…my suggestion is to grab a handful of your best buds, find a chunk of land and start making memories. Every one of us will agree: this was the best thing we’ve ever done in life. To another 10 🍻

Hard post for this picture I just found of my folks from the 70s. Obviously neither of them can remember the exact year now. My folks had me a little later in life, which has shown its ups and downs. It’s tough not being able to do things with them as their bodies and minds get older. Tough watching them forget things, me always needing to step in and help with basic life stuff you’d think someone would never forget. That’s life though.
The trade off was the influence I got from their era. The music, the fashion, the values and morals of a time before everyone was completely cynical. It’s incredible watching my Mom still have this hope for the world that I think many of us have totally given up on. This old Vietnam vet and hippie lady did a pretty good job I think. God I love them so much. Cherishing every day I still get to spend with both parents taken in Marquette, Michigan by @candyman__eps
