Why do you give? For Emily, Canopy is place for her, in her 70s, to have started something new to build strength and flexibility with both her body and my mind. For October, our goal is to find sponsors for 50 square feet of our new space to better support Emily and all of our students to continue to grow. One square foot is $125. Will you help today? Donate through the link in our profile. And we know this is a difficult season and not everyone is financially able to give. Please consider sharing Emily’s (or your) story! All donations, no matter the size, make a tremendous difference! We have so much gratitude to all who have given in various ways already - financially, sharing our story, and volunteering, and more. None of what we do could happen without you. #canopystudio #canopyimaginemore taken in CANOPY STUDIO by @canopystudio

Did you hear? It’s finally happening! Canopy is getting a new building! While the building project will happen, the level of finishes and additions that will be included on opening day (targeted for Fall of 2026) depends on meeting our fundraising goals. Your donation today - big or small - will help us get to our first checkpoint of raising an additional $100k before the end of the year. To learn more and to donate, visit the link in our profile! #canopystudio #canopyimaginemore taken in CANOPY STUDIO by @canopystudio

Last night’s Open Mic night @canopystudio was fun and awesome!!!🔥🔥🔥 I took my friend, 96 year old ATL acrobat, Mr. Steve to perform our act at Canopy. This was my gift to him. Every year he always talks about wanting to perform especially on his birthday. This was a great idea for us to do our act four days before his birthday! 😀🙏🏾 #oldestacrobat #atlantaacrobats #athensbynight #athensacrobats taken in CANOPY STUDIO by @canopystudio

@canopystudio Community Farewell Show 🌺 Show 1 • Act 1 • We Were Born to Fly The magic of Disney's "Moana" came to life during this piece! This was the first time I got to see some of the younger Canopy students perform. Their confidence not just onstage but on, you know, various apparatuses dangling from Very High Ceilings, is awe-inspiring. The coolest part about this piece was that there were several aerial performance styles put together, making it a medley not just of music selections, but of the circus arts as well. ▪️ This is Mvskoke land. What a day yesterday as we said farewell to the Tracy Street studio. We had two sold out shows, lots of laughs, some tears, and of course (sweat and) glitter. Thank you so much to all of the performers, act leads, tech crew, riggers, front of house, and audience for making this show one for the books. #canopystudio #canopyfarewelltour #canopyfarewellshow taken in CANOPY STUDIO by @canopystudio

New blog post is up! Read and subscribe through the link in our profile! In the new post, Ann gives an update on where we are with the new building. Donate now through the link in our profile to the capital campaign to raise the last 20% of funds needed to move in debt free! “I suppose I thought that the same resilience, grit, and stick-to-it-ness that make circus people chase the next trick, (after all, we regularly do things even when they hurt, even when we know we’re going to wake up the next day with a bruise) would somehow magically make the building happen on time” taken in CANOPY STUDIO by @canopystudio
