🚨 Only two months left to get your fix @cantoastbakery , the Hong Kong-inspired bakery that’s been holding court on Nutford Place near Marble Arch since April.

Founders Haydon Wong and Natalie TJ spent two years popping up across London, building a cult following for their HK-style French toast, which is still very much on the menu. Alongside it you’ll find bolo buns, pizza scrolls with chilli crisp and a line-up of honey toasts made with house-baked shokupan milk bread, with toppings like kaya, the coconut jam that’s much loved across Southeast Asia.

Our favourite was the salted egg cream honey toast, which is perfect for anyone who goes for mixed popcorn at the cinema. Just make sure you leave room for an OG salt bread, because sometimes simple, soft and buttery is all you need.

Wash it all down with a lemon iced tea or, if you’re feeling adventurous, a corn milk matcha.

The residency wraps up on 20 December, so get in before it’s gone!

2 years ago we started a Hong Kong toast market stall and that quickly became what we were known for. An exciting twist on HK toast popping up all around London.

When we opened the bakery earlier this year, we announced there would be none of our iconic toast at the shop and a lot of you were pretty upset to say the least…

But to be honest, we just gotta do what makes sense for the space and the business. Plus, we’ve always wanted to offer more than just toast and share with ya’ll what we felt like was missing from London’s bakery scene.

The disappointment didn’t last long though… As well as running the shop, we’ve did multiple pop-ups and markets serving our classic toast throughout the year, so there’s always a chance to grab toast.

The bakery is also a pop-up and quickly coming to an end. If you haven’t had the chance to come try yet, please come soon!! Can’t promise where we’ll be after that.

INTRODUCING THE TOMATO EGG (& cheese!) SUB

You guys said we needed a lunch item, and we knew it had to be
