Cantoast (📍Marble Arch, London)

Finally got to try @cantoastbakery at their pop-up bakery and it’s an Asian bakery that should be on your list! We had:

🍞Pastries
- Kaya & sea salt honey toast (£5.3)
- Salted egg cream honey toast (£5.3)
- Corn cream salt bread (£5.6)
- Chicken sausage cheese & mayo salt bread (£6)

🍵Drinks
- Hong Kong milk tea (£4.8)
- Lemon iced tea (£4.8)

Was pleasantly surprised by the corn cream salt bread which was my favourite sweet pastry and the chicken sausage salt bread is a must try for a savoury option. I love a good honey toast and the kaya was my favorite. The salted egg cream is an interesting flavour but I wasn’t a big fan of the texture.

There’s other pastries I’d have loved to try but they had just sold out so definitely go earlier in the day. Also recommend trying the drinks as well! The pop-up bakery is open till 20th December.

This was actually a couple months back so they may have different items now as they do change up their seasonal items ! I really LOVED the Kaya toast was the perfect texture with crispy toast and soft interior and the filling on top has so much flavour ! The matcha was good quality however corn milk is DEFINITELY an acquired taste! Would deffs recommend visiting !

DID YOU KNOW??? Before the bakery, Cantoast was a HK toast market stall for almost 2 years!! It took a long time of doing pop-ups and markets before opening a semi-permanent site (we’re still a pop-up bakery)!!

As much as we do love the bakery, we’ve also been serving our HK toast around London’s markets this year (just can’t get away from it).

If you haven’t been to the bakery yet, do come by soon as we’ll only be there til the end of the year. Or if you’re looking for toast, we’ll see you at the next market 🫶
