A big thank-you to our partners throughout Kern County, our city officials, our talent, and all of our vendors who helped make this event a success! Most importantly, thank you to the veterans who have served our country. It is our honor to serve those who have served us!

NEW THIS YEAR: EMPLOYMENT ROW!
For the first time, we introduced an Employment Row featuring local partners looking to hire veterans! We’re proud to help connect our veterans with employment opportunities and support them as they take the next steps in their careers.

🎖️ Are you a veteran looking for work? We encourage you to reach out to our participating local employment partners to learn more about available opportunities!

At CAPK Veterans & Supportive Services, our commitment to supporting those who served continues beyond this event.

2026 Veterans Stand Down.

We brought together more than 110 dedicated community partners for a one-day expo focused on serving our veterans. Veterans were able to access mobile clinics, VA services, Social Security assistance, and much more, all in one convenient location.

SVS Cares is more than a family organization. It’s a mission to help people in need.

Through weekly outreach, SVS Cares provides food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and other essential resources to people experiencing hardship. With support from CAPK Food Bank, they continue to expand their reach and help meet needs beyond food assistance.

We’re grateful for SVS Cares and their dedication to uplifting others and helping people build a better future.

Feed the Need was a huge success! 🧡

Thanks to our incredible community, we collected a total of 23,313 pounds of food for neighbors in need across Kern County.

Each year, the Feed the Need Food Drive at the Kern County Fair brings neighbors together for a great cause. Guests brought six canned food items per person in exchange for free admission to the fair for the evening, and their generosity truly showed. Every can donated will help provide nutritious meals to families who need them most.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, to our amazing volunteers who gave their time to collect and sort each donation, and to the Kern County Fair for being such a wonderful partner. We are so grateful to be part of a community that shows up for one another.

Together, we’re fighting hunger one can at a time🥫
