A weekend well spent with the Community!

Our team had a great time at this year’s #NAMIWalks connecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and coming together in support of mental health awareness.

Thank you to @namikerncounty and everyone who helped make this event possible. Every step is a reminder of the importance of community, connection, and continuing the conversation around mental health.

Can’t wait for next year!

SVS Cares is more than a family organization. It’s a mission to help people in need.

Through weekly outreach, SVS Cares provides food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and other essential resources to people experiencing hardship. With support from CAPK Food Bank, they continue to expand their reach and help meet needs beyond food assistance.

We’re grateful for SVS Cares and their dedication to uplifting others and helping people build a better future.

🇺🇸✨ 10.8.2026 | CAPK Veterans Stand Down

I was grateful to be part of an event dedicated to honoring and supporting those who have served our country.

Our veterans have sacrificed so much, and they deserve more than just our gratitude. They deserve continued support, resources, and a community that stands behind them.

Thank you to CAPK and everyone who came together to make a difference for our veterans. No veteran should ever feel forgotten. ❤️🇺🇸

Feed the Need was a huge success! 🧡

Thanks to our incredible community, we collected a total of 23,313 pounds of food for neighbors in need across Kern County.

Each year, the Feed the Need Food Drive at the Kern County Fair brings neighbors together for a great cause. Guests brought six canned food items per person in exchange for free admission to the fair for the evening, and their generosity truly showed. Every can donated will help provide nutritious meals to families who need them most.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, to our amazing volunteers who gave their time to collect and sort each donation, and to the Kern County Fair for being such a wonderful partner. We are so grateful to be part of a community that shows up for one another.

Together, we’re fighting hunger one can at a time🥫
