Garlic bread is sometimes an afterthought in many restaurants. It’s one of my favorite things to eat. Customers don’t realize what goes into the making of our sourdough garlic bread that we serve at both @tonyspizza415 & @capossf. Watch the video 👀 We first make our bread at my bakery @toscanobrothers using a starter that’s over 40 years old in our baguettes 🥖 thanks to Keith Giusto @keithgiustobakerysupply. We deliver them to both restaurants each morning and make the garlic 🧄 bread to order. There are a few things when I was a kid that my dad and I always ordered at restaurants. Caesar salad, lasagna, calamari and garlic bread were something we always had together. I knew one day if I were to own my own restaurant that I had to make these items exceptionally special and made from scratch. We slow roast whole garlic cloves and make a chopped garlic butter that we make in house topped with @grandecheesefoodservice mozzarella romano, oregano, garlic olive oil. These are served with an agave garlic and warm @stanislaustomatoes 🍅 sauce 😋. What a fun day! 🇮🇹🎉🇮🇹
Thank you to everyone who came out to North Beach yesterday to celebrate the Italian Heritage Parade! We had such a great time enjoying the parade, hosting our seated lunch, and seeing so many friends and regulars throughout the day! ❤️

Italian Heritage Day 🇮🇹 is the best and busiest day in North Beach San Francisco. Thank you to my entire team who works so hard along with all of our customers and friends who support every year. It was such a beautiful day and it was great to see everyone. Thank you @columbusmeats @thesalamisamurai 🙌🙏❤️. I was so happy that Gino had a chance to come out for a little bit. ⚓️🇺🇸 This week has been such a blast welcoming the @usnavy officers and crew to North Beach!

Let’s keep the festivities going! 🇮🇹 Tomorrow is the Italian Heritage Parade, and we can’t wait for the best day of the year here in North Beach! 💚🤍❤️

We’ll be opening for dinner service tomorrow at 5:30PM after the parade festivities wrap up. Come celebrate with us! 🍕🍷
