POSTS STORIES REELS

This is the post I've been so excited to write.

I'm no longer just a wellbeing coach. I'm stepping into speaking, podcasting, and taking everything I've built in 1:1 rooms onto stages and into earbuds.

I started coaching because I knew firsthand what it felt like to be completely disconnected from your own body and sense of self. For years, helping women one at a time was everything. But I kept hearing the same exhaustion in every session, and I knew this conversation needed to reach further than my calendar would ever allow.

I'm not leaving this work. I'm expanding it.

If you've ever felt like you were meant for more than where you are right now: you probably are. Follow along. This is just the beginning. 🖤 by @capribrand

I did it, finally…it’s coming y’all and I couldn’t be more excited! What are you waiting on…go do whatever it is that you know you are called to do!

Are you creating content all alone? Let me tell you what that used to look like for me. Inconsistent, scattered, always falling short of what I actually wanted to put out.

I'm not just working with a social media expert. I'm working with my dear friend Venus, who knows my voice better than I do sometimes. That's what changed everything, having someone who actually sees me, who knows what I need before I have to explain it, who makes the process fun instead of another thing on my to-do list.

If you're doing this alone right now, this is your sign. You don't have to. Go find your Vee by @capribrand

This is community in action.

Myra Herring @capribrand , co-founder of Craft of Coaching, pulled up to support C.O.C. member and Council member Danelle Brister @danelle.live at her event, Your Wardrobe Is Your Business Card.

That is what this tribe does. We show up. We support. We celebrate each other in real life.

And this is bigger than just showing up. Our members are building. They are hosting. They are creating spaces that bring value into the world. When one of us steps into something new, we are in the room.

Because that is who we are.

If you are part of this community and you get together with a fellow member, we want to see it. Share your photos. Share your stories. Show us what community looks like in your corner of the world.

Tag us or drop a photo below. Let’s celebrate the moments that happen beyond the screen.

Today we honor Indigenous Peoples Day. We recognize the resilience, culture, and wisdom of Indigenous communities, past and present, and the land we all stand on today. by @capribrand

Breaking an old pattern doesn’t have to require a complete life overhaul. It can start with something small:

Getting up a little earlier.
Arriving early on purpose.
Bringing that book you’ve been meaning to read.

As @Capribrand has recently discovered, a new pattern can be built one intentional choice at a time.

What old habit are you ready to replace, and what new pattern could you begin today?

CultureCon!!!!!!
There’s something powerful about being in a space that reminds you: we are the culture. CultureCon was a beautiful collision of fashion, creativity, innovation, conversation, and Black brilliance—and more than anything, community. I came with friends and ran into even more that I didn’t know would be there and it gave me life! Hey @tiffanyblackness @boomspeaks @successthegr8!!

I love the community of friends that I get to “work” with that never feels like work @anikaapplespeaks @naeemadc @bournetransformationgroup @iconbourne @thecoachjd @iamcmccreary

One of my favorite moments at CultureCon was hosting an intimate Braindate about well-being and ambition—creating space to ask a question I’ve been sitting with myself: How do we honor the dream without losing ourselves in pursuit of it? The honesty, wisdom, laughter, and connection in that small circle reminded me that some of the most meaningful moments happen when we slow down enough to really see and hear one another.

And maybe what stayed with me most was witnessing dreams in motion. Being surrounded by people who once had an idea, a vision, a “what if…” and are now standing inside the very thing they imagined years ago. There’s something sacred about that. Congrats @imaniimani for believing in your dream way beyond the noise 🤎

On episode 5 of LightWork, Jessica Dawson, co-founder and CEO of Craft of Coaching, said something about human resilience that I haven't stopped thinking about.

We used to raise the next generation together, as a village. Now we live in a world where we're more “connected” than we've ever been, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, every platform imaginable, and somehow people feel more isolated than ever. But Jessica pointed out that humans always swing back. We're already seeing it: people talking about community again, new communities launching everywhere. And here's the part that stuck with me most: as AI takes over more of what used to be "normal," the one thing left will be each other. That's going to force us to actually trust and build with people again.

Maybe the isolation we're feeling right now is exactly what's pushing the pendulum back.

I recently learned something that stuck with me: most relationships fade the moment people stop sharing. Not sharing information, sharing themselves. The highs, the lows, the messy middle.

I saw it play out with my own sister. I wanted us to be closer, so I got honest with her about a few blind spots I had. What she said shocked me. She'd felt like our relationship stayed surface-level, because I wasn't sharing my highs (I didn't want it to look like bragging) or my lows (I didn't want to be a burden).

Either way, I was holding back. And holding back kept us from ever going deeper.

The moment I let that go and actually opened up, the relationship changed overnight.

So here's what I want to ask you: where in your life are you being invited to be fully seen? What would it take to go there? by @capribrand

On episode 6 of LightWork, I sat down with Kailei Carr, CEO of The Asbury Group, and she posed a question that stopped me: could you imagine a world, or even just one country, where every network decided to only share good news?
I called it euphoria. No negative headlines. No attack ads. Just good news, on repeat. She said it, and I felt it. Can you imagine the impact?
What would change for you if the noise you consumed every day was only good news?
