At Capstone Races, we exist to steward races by creating great experiences for our runners, weaving our local communities into every part of race weekend, and leaving each city better than we found it.

Because a great race should be about more than the finish line. It should be something the whole community can be proud of. 💙

Running is about more than race day. 💚

It’s the miles, the people, and the run clubs that keep the community going year-round. We started the celebration of 20 years of the City of Oaks Marathon by joining @crunkrunclub to kick off race day with the Raleigh running community! 🌳🏃‍♀️

Here’s to 20 years of running Raleigh and continuing to show up for the community that makes it all happen. 🏃‍♂️

My name is Zack Welker, most of the time you can find me at work, at the gym/on the run, or playing with my dog. I love the running community and the comradery that comes in the shared suffering of a hard run. Can’t wait to meet you all out there!

Courtney is a driven professional who balances a career in project management with her passion for fitness, community, and creating meaningful experiences. She’s a hybrid athlete, run-club leader, and foodie who brings energy, organization, and heart to everything she takes on.

Howdy! I am an adrenaline junkie who considers “a good time” anything involving speed, sweat and a questionable amount of ambition. In the wild, you can find me supporting local athletes as a race pacer, competing in triathlons and on the hunt for new adventures. Let’s GO!

I’m a registered dietitian at NC State and the co-founder of Wolves on the Run. I love the community that is built around running, and am working towards a goal to run in every state!

I have been running ever since I stole from a Christian bookstore at 3 years old and it has become my happy place. I live in Durham with my husband and two dogs.

Jacqueline Andrade Herrera is a communications professional passionate about connecting people through storytelling, community engagement and advocacy. Outside of work, she is an avid runner, dancer, traveler, and lover of hot yoga and Pilates, believing that the same discipline, resilience, and curiosity that shape her adventures also fuel her commitment to creating lasting change.

I’m an avid runner, socializer, and lover of great food and exploring new places. I love connecting with our lo by @capstoneraces
