I might not be as fit as I’d like to be over 40yo, but I’m active! SN: If you see me back in the boot mind your business. 😩 #runbullcity #5krun #momof3 #fitmoms

If you would’ve told me a year ago that I can run at and under an 8”/mi pace during a race I wouldn’t have believed you. Yet there I went and did it. And had an incredible time too?! The video of me smiling? Yeah, I was smiling throughout the race like a dork because why would I do this if I wasn’t enjoying it?? And I’m so grateful for my support system. My girls are amazing and they made me feel so loved today. First race down, I’m excited for the next!!!

Running is about more than race day. 💚

It’s the miles, the people, and the run clubs that keep the community going year-round. We started the celebration of 20 years of the City of Oaks Marathon by joining @crunkrunclub to kick off race day with the Raleigh running community! 🌳🏃‍♀️

Here’s to 20 years of running Raleigh and continuing to show up for the community that makes it all happen. 🏃‍♂️
