Three days of competition.
125 medals.
One unforgettable night.
After another full day on the tatami, athletes from around the world came together for the Opening Ceremony, celebrating the sport that brought us all here.
Team USA remains 2nd overall with:
🥇 37 Gold
🥈 37 Silver
🥉 51 Bronze
The medals tell one story.
The flags, the friendships, and the pride of representing your country tell another.
Tomorrow, the journey continues. 🇺🇸🥋

A winning shot deserves a memorable journey. 📸✨

As the winner of the FIBA Photo Contest 2025, @capturedby_sean was invited to Switzerland🇨🇭for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball. 🏀

Sean got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the home of FIBA, discovered what goes on behind the scenes ahead of FIBA Open 2026, and was presented with a copy of the FIBA Photo Book 2026—featuring his award-winning photograph.

A trip to remember. 👏 taken in Fiba House of Basketball by @capturedby_sean

From New York to Mies. 🇨🇭🏀📸
Grateful to have spent the week capturing the FIBA 3x3 Open through my lens, documenting the energy, emotion, and moments that make this game what it is.
Being out here as the official photographer for an event like this is something I don’t take lightly. Every game, every celebration, every quiet moment in between reminded me why I fell in love with storytelling through sports in the first place.
Thank you to @basketballforgood and everyone involved for trusting me to help tell the story of this event. More to come. ❤️‍🔥 by @capturedby_sean

A Global Lens - Penn Relays

There are meets, and then there is Penn.

Since 1895, this has been more than a competition. It is a gathering point for the sport itself. Generations returning to the same oval, carrying stories that stretch far beyond a single race. High school athletes, college programs, professionals, Olympians all stepping onto the same track, separated by divisions but connected by something deeper. Legacy.

At Franklin Field, time feels layered. Records fall, but history never leaves. You see it in the quiet moments before the gun, in the hands pressed together, in the circles formed not for attention but for belief. You feel it when the stadium fills, when every lane holds more than just an athlete. It holds expectation, preparation, and everything it took to get there.

The relays are what define it. Baton exchanges measured in milliseconds, trust passed from one stride to the next. It is not just about speed. It is about rhythm, chemistry, and responsibility. One moment connecting four stories into a single outcome.

But Penn is not only about what happens on the track. It lives in the in-between. In the tunnel conversations. In the early mornings and late nights. In the skyline watching over it all as the sun drops and the lights take over. A place where the sport is felt just as much as it is seen.

Because here, performances matter. But presence matters more. This is Penn Relays. Where history shows up every year, and the next chapter is always waiting.

This is part of our global effort to spotlight creatives and cultures across sport every week. Seen through the lens of @capturedby_sean as part of Field of Vision’s global network. taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @capturedby_sean
