🇷🇴🥋 **Throwback to the WUKF World Championships in Romania!** Thank you to @_masonstowell for gearing me up for this event. To my coaches back at home @conellloveless and @joey_castro_elite_training 🙏🏾.

Karate has given me the opportunity to compete on a world stage, challenge myself, and connect with incredible athletes from around the world. 🌎

Grateful for every competition, every lesson, and every opportunity to do what I love. 🥋❤️

A little jump training turned into something we got to bring all the way to the world stage. 🌎🥋

Working on the timing, height, control, and just trying to get a little better every time. Then getting to see Liam put it into action at Worlds made all that practice worth it.

Still learning. Still improving. Still jumping. 🔥

Big thank you to @capturedby_sean for capturing these moments and @tim.harris.54738 for the support and footage. We appreciate you both!

still reminiscing on my time with AAU at the junior olympics and vball nationals 🥲

both teams pushed me to be the best photographer i could’ve imagined. looking back at how much i’ve grown in such a short amount of time is crazy to think about

shoutout @sweenfilms for being the best mentor i could’ve asked for. i heard amazing things about you going into this and you proved that you’re one of a kind. your skills are genuinely insane and i still don’t know how you edit videos so fast 😭 expecting HUGE things in the future

also shoutout @c_friend_ for being the best photo mentor during nationals. going into nationals you set the bar high in terms of delivery and that was a goal i strived for 🙌

thank you to everyone else i’ve met and worked with! every day was something new and that’s what made jo’s worth the while ✌️

Another JO games completed! Very fortunate to get to spend time with some very incredibly talented people!

A fun two weeks in a place I hope I never have to spend time in again 😬

It was also fun to shoot photos again and not just video 🙂

The greatest emotion I have from this competition is gratitude: for the opportunity to compete at such a high level, surrounded by friends, and supported by many. I’m grateful for the ability to travel at all, let alone internationally!!! This was an unbelievable privilege, from the time on the mat to time with my team. Thank you to my family, AKS, AAU, WUKF, and above all, God.

The moments between the medals.🏅🏅🏅

The deep breath before stepping onto the mat.
The fearless leap.
The roar after victory.
The hugs that said everything words couldn’t.

Three days of competition.

One unforgettable night.
After another full day on the tatami, athletes from around the world came together for the Opening Ceremony, celebrating the sport that brought us all here.
Team USA remains 2nd overall with:
🥇 37 Gold

The medals tell one story.
