Dear Speech and Debate,
It's your turn now.
•
It was always more than just talking. I was taught passion, perspective, optimism, and so much more; to debate and adovcate for so many things was truly incredible. I cannot express how much all of you- teammates and competitors- have made my speech and debate career the best it could have ever been.
•
For my Debaters- You are all amazing. Everytime I debated you, I was in awe of what intelligent, strong people you are. I learned how to be open-minded to so many opinions, and I would not have done that without you.
•
To my Retold kids- It has been such a pleasure to draw with such amazing people. You all taught me how to be more optimistic, and enthusiastic about the world around me, even during tough times. I wouldn't be smiling the way I am without you :).
•
And most importantly of all, To my Team- I loved growing with all of you, truly my closest friends I have made during high school. You are my favorite people, I have enjoyed you all through the ups and downs, the giggles and the long bus rides. Thank you for guiding me through my exhausting prep, and sitting through my imaginary story times, I know I would not be the person I am today without your support and friendships.

Dear Soccer,
Out of all the times I said I would quit, I'm glad I never did.
•
You showed me resilience, perseverance, and gave me friendships I will never forget. I love this sport, it's made me feel like I can do the impossible. I truly cannot believe that it's over, and I can't thank everyone enough who was apart of it. To all my teammates, you have made this unforgettable. To soccer, thank you for all the bruises, because each one made me push harder.
