For every artist wondering if they should keep going:
Keep going.
There will be moments when the dream feels far away. Moments when you question yourself, face rejection, or wonder if all the hard work is worth it.
Keep going anyway.
Today, one of my biggest dreams became reality,
I got into Juilliard!!
This moment represents years of dedication, growth, perseverance, and believing in something even when I couldn’t yet see the outcome. But what excites me most is knowing that the journey doesn’t stop here.
I am still a working artist, still learning, still growing, and still committed to developing new skills and deepening my craft. No matter where we are in our careers, there is always more to discover, more to learn, and more room to evolve.
I’m incredibly grateful, humbled, and excited for this next chapter!
Dream boldly. Stay curious. Never stop growing.

Thank you so much @boldjourneymag for interviewing me again on my journey as an artist.

Looking back, some of the most impactful lessons I’ve learned throughout my journey is that this career is a marathon, not a sprint; there is only one unique you, and that individuality is your greatest strength; and every single day you have to continue working on your craft. Success does not happen overnight, and growth comes from consistency, patience, discipline, and the willingness to keep showing up even when things feel uncertain. Some of the most important moments in my career came from simply refusing to give up and continuing to believe in myself through every season.
Some advice I have for new artists who are just starting out is to fully embrace who you are and what makes you different. In an industry where it can be easy to compare yourself to others, authenticity is what truly stands out. Never underestimate the value of hard work, preparation, and persistence. Continue learning, continue creating, and never stop developing your skills. Be open to opportunities, build genuine relationships, and understand that every experience, both good and bad, is shaping you into the artist you are meant to become.
Most importantly, protect your passion. There will be challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt, but do not allow those moments to silence your voice or your creativity. Stay connected to the reason you started in the first place, trust your journey, and remember that success looks different for everyone. As long as you continue growing, creating, and staying true to yourself, you are already moving in the right direction.
