Peak happiness:

Happy Fathers Day to you,
The one we all lean on; and lean hard, we do.
The one who makes sure they see how Dad should love and forever romance their Mom.
The one who shows them how to be a great son.
The one who sends silly-face-camp-grams to our first time camper during his Fathers Day Tea.
The one who builds and re-builds all our dreams and is in all our favorite moments, every season.
The one with whom I’m so grateful to raise these remarkable young men.

They’re crazy about you and so am I.

Still head-over-heels over here for my @jasondyba… and so proud of his work, his priorities, his fathering, and the dreams he’s chasing through vulnerability, the passing of time, and the fury of a burning gift.

Just sharing my extraordinary affection on this ordinary day of worship, unpacking, washing, and yard work. Today I’m thankful for the quiet privilege to love and to be loved.

TALK ABOUT A GRRRR8 WEEK! ✨
Roman had a really special one, filled with heaps of joy and love.
What a treasure to be celebrated so dearly.

His friends show up. His teachers love him.
He knows he’s not alone, and can recite Psalm 23 to prove it.
He persisted through a steep climb in second grade and still emerged with awards of character and praise of fortitude where it matters most.

He’s worked so hard playing up to an incredible standard on his academy soccer team all year, and the fruit of it was sweet: striker on the first goal in his championship game, which they won by one. Nothingggg beats every parent cheering on your hard-working kid!

I will always remember this week… and how 𝐼 grew from it.
Watching you, watching others celebrate you, and watching diligence at work in your little eight year timeline teaches me as much as I’ve picked up in my own forty years, Roman Thomas.

I delight in you. I gush over you.
I’m jumping the highest out of my sideline chair every time for you.
