Ringin’ in 2023 right.
3:00pm, coffee, cat, no pants.
That is all. Thank you for listening to my profound motivational words.

“Creator doesn’t just pour strong into the top of your head and then bam, you’re strong! Creator gives us these challenges in life, and we have to work through them in order to prepare us for the work ahead of us that requires this strength.” - Calling My Spirit Back by @elainealec_
If you haven’t read it I highly recommend. This woman’s words have been medicine during a difficult season.

Feeling overwhelmed with Grief AND Gratitude today.
Sometimes you just need to go weep with the River and let Her carry some of the intensity. Let your tears join the melting snow on its way to meet Her.
Then see who else has come to be taken care of by the River today; and remember you are no more important than them.

Some serious frolicking in the woods in Brokenhead Ojibway Nation today. So grateful for the teachings we received and the time to connect with the land and with the amazing people I work with. Group photos coming soon!

This last weekend I said goodbye to this space @pegcityyoga
I experienced so much within those four walls. So many connections made while shedding all the tears and so many layers.
I will never forget the first time I walked into a class here and those creaky old floors whispered "You’re home."
It was where I began to learn "I have something to say." And so many other lessons that are still unfurling.

An afternoon hike that turned into an overnighter.
Harvesting fireweed seeds, bluebs, and the occasional raspberry, guessing the fungus, bushwhacking, skinny dipping, and a beer in the sun topped off with a stay in the ultimate little paradise in the woods! So good for the soul ❤️
Thanks for meandering in the Forest with me @janellesometimesgina

Every Spring I find myself here and every Spring I try and claw my way out.. trying a different approach this year.

Cauldron of Transformation -
Step off the edge... and then, if it happens, let yourself fall. Feel the grief and the loss; feel the environmental despair. Feel the rage.
Do you fear it? Stay with the dark anyway. Don’t fight it; don’t try to manage your way out. You will simply postpone the inevitable, and it will come around again. Don’t fear the dark; it’s a natural part of the Journey. The most beautiful butterflies emerge from the darkness of the cocoon; the finest plants push their way out of the deep, rich, fertile soil. Out of the darkness comes strength, and focus. There is always another rebirth. But it always begins in the dark.
Be still.
Listen.
Let yourself disintegrate. - Sharon Blackie - If Women Rose Rooted
