I’m so excited to reveal the cover of my interactive picture book ‘a little world of ants’, which will be released by @twohootsbooks on the 4th April - exactly 10 weeks away!!!

since being awarded the Macmillan Prize for Illustration in 2021, I have loved having the opportunity to develop the book with the wonderful team at Two Hoots. I can’t wait to share it with you all over the next few months, and hope it will inspire lots of nature exploration and fascination for tiny insects.

thank you to @twohootsbooks + @lucyjuckes + @macmillankidsuk + @djcadillustration (+ many others) for believing in my ants book and helping bring it to life 🩷🐜

I have created a newsletter if you’d like to keep up to date with ant events, workshops + other illustration news

also… ‘a little world of ants’ is available to preorder now!!! newsletter sign up + preorder link are both in my bio 🐜 🐜 🐜

happy peachtober! I am unlikely to manage all the days but maybe I’ll manage a few. I am aiming for an all over under the sea theme 🐟 🐠 🧜

day one — oak — I wanted to imagine what an equivalent of an oak tree might be for a crab, so here’s a sleepy crab under a coral tree
