Last week we told you to keep your eyes peeled for the announcement of our new resident kitchen here at Refectory MCR; well peel no longer because we are stoked to announce that @cardinalrule_mcr will be taking over from March 6th!

They will be bringing their Southern American style biscuits to the table for you all to get stuck into and we can’t wait to dig in (some of our staff may have already tried them and won’t stop talking about them).

What are South American biscuits? Fluffy, buttery biscuits that you can pile on toppings whether they are sweet or savoury. Vegetarian and Vegan options will be available with a selection of sides to pick at as well!

We can’t wait for you all to come and try them in March and writing this post has made me incredibly hungry, so you are all welcome

While we were visiting home in Virginia at the end of September you know we had to make everyone some biscuits! It’s always an adjustment switching ingredients in the states vs the UK; buttermilk, salt, and flour differ significantly! Shout out to my mom for filming (and hosting upwards of 15 people over two weeks so we could get quality time in with everyone).
