Kissing the first half of a very hectic September goodbye. More to come after a medically inadvisable amount of sleep.

Yap about something enough and you’ll eventually be given the merch to match. Thank you to @seligsonh and @vanityfair for including me (and @readrps) in this article last month on assholes and members clubs—two things I have had a lot of experience with. by @cargriff

In Episode 10 of our Long Lunch series, we welcome @cargriff.

I told you all I had range, didn’t I? For The New Yorker, I wrote about Steven Pruitt, widely regarded as the most prolific Wikipedia editor in the world. I went to Alexandria, Virginia, to meet him, peek behind the curtain of the Internet’s collective brain, and learn what happens when one of its most human projects becomes required reading for machines.

Thank you to @tyfogs for the enthusiasm for this story and Charlotte Goddu for somehow making fact-checking fun 💻 by @cargriff

A section cover in The New York Times never gets old.

Thank you to my editors @ajrotunno for assigning this story and seeing the vision from the beginning, and @jimwindolf, who somehow always finds a way to make every story better. Jim edited my first section cover a decade ago, and every one since has been an honor.

And thank you to @sammynussdorf for the extraordinary amount of time and transparency you gave me over the past five months. The only one who may have asked more of him than I did was Con Ed.

Proof I have range: I wrote about fly-fishing for @wsjoffduty. I still won’t be picking up a rod anytime soon, but getting the approval of the person who inspired this story felt like the highest compliment. 🎣 and thanks to @sebmodak for letting me do the luxury part of this package! by @cargriff

There is maybe nothing I love more than a long lunch so it was a hard yes when @jeremykingrestaurants @arlingtonrestaurant and @ashleyclarebaker asked me to talk about just that earlier this month. by @cargriff

I would like to say the next @readrps party will be even better, but how are we going to top the last one? I have a feeling we’ll find a way.

Thank you to @nytimes @dionnesearcey, @caper.media @mrdanabrown, @mrmaer @christophergardner, @avenueinsider @peterdavis, and @marasiegler @olijcoleman for the @nypost @californiapost. All such an unexpected surprise ❤️ by @cargriff
