Has there ever been an event more in tune with the cultural zeitgeist of our time? Sotheby’s is hosting a “The Art of Divorce” panel at Sotheby’s Geneva, featuring its Head of Fine Art in Switzerland. “Our expert panel will examine the art and cultural property questions that arise in the context of divorce.”

Another RPS exclusive for you today: BLADEone is coming back. After being dormant for three years, it returns November 19, with fares starting at $2,450 each way between Westchester and either Miami or Palm Beach. Blade is also introducing a $3,500 flight pass for dogs.

Blade says demand has only grown since BLADEone last flew and describes New York–South Florida as one of the busiest private-jet corridors in the world, helped by more New Yorkers spending time in Florida and the movement of finance and tech business south.

There is plenty of evidence of the latter. Citadel announced its headquarters move to Miami in 2022; Point72 opened its West Palm Beach office that same year. Palantir moved its headquarters from Denver to Miami in February 2026, and in September Andreessen Horowitz announced a West Palm Beach regional headquarters for its $1.18 billion American Dynamism fund. Stephen Ross, meanwhile, has been building in West Palm Beach since 1998, and Related Ross now has more than $10 billion in planned investment across Palm Beach County. For the full information, including what private amenities come with the fare (in-flight Caesar salad by Major Food Group?), check out today’s letter at www.readrps.com or link in bio. by @readrps

Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the hotel that F. Scott Fitzgerald immortalized as the Hôtel des Étrangers in Tender Is the Night, has spent the past few years trying to rein in the influencer photoshoot. Last week, @travelweeklyus reported that some non-resident guests were booking lunch, arriving with bags of clothes and jewelry, changing outfits several times and treating the property like a series of “photo sets.”

Now there are rules about where you can shoot and even how phones are used around the hotel. I also spoke to an employee about where the problem gets particularly bad. The full story at www.readrps.com and link in bio. by @readrps

In yet another RPS exclusive, there’s a fight brewing behind the scenes at the Hamptons International Film Festival. HIFF’s decision to pass on Noga and Am I Cancelled Yet? while programming NAZA sparked a serious dispute within the board.

RPS has also obtained an open letter from the officers, trustees and clergy of the Jewish Center of the Hamptons objecting to the festival’s programming choices. The full story is in today’s RPS at www.readrps.com or link in bio. by @readrps

In another RPS exclusive, London’s Maison Estelle is taking over one of downtown New York’s most legendary addresses: the former Limelight.

RPS has all the details in today’s letter, including how the club got this far and the law firm who has helped more than 10+ private members’ clubs secure liquor licenses and is now helping Maison Estelle get over the finish line. Full story at www.readrps.com and link in bio.

A gun scare, a seizure, hundreds of would-be guests and one of London’s most exclusive private members’ clubs suddenly shut down. RPS spoke to people inside Maison Estelle and members close to the situation to find out what happened, why police stepped in and what could happen next. In a RPS exclusive, Aurora James and the Fifteen Percent Pledge are being sued by The Gathery over an allegedly unpaid bill from the nonprofit’s 2026 gala. The event agency is seeking $1.08m which includes interest and legal fees. James is also named personally in a fraud claim, with The Gathery alleging she continued approving work and assuring the agency it would be paid despite knowing, or recklessly disregarding, that the nonprofit did not have the money. In other words, the party may be over, but the bill very much is not. Is it the season of the scammer? From a $10 billion Hermès inheritance dispute to a $35 million Ponzi scheme that counted Travis Kelce among its alleged victims, more than 200 fake Warhols, romance scammers accused of taking more than $6 million, and a new generation of AI-enabled fraud, the grift has gone upscale.

All of these stories, and more, are in the latest RPS letter. Read it at www.readrps.com or link in bio. by @readrps

William D. Cohan’s new 667-page “Money to Burn” gets into the staggering scale of Leon Black’s wealth, including his defense that the $158 million Black paid Jeffrey Epstein for trust and estate services just wasn’t as significant to him as it might sound. (C’mon guys! Get with it!)

@juliebdavich from The Appraisal examines Black’s unusually granular spending for @readrps. These are just a few examples from 2015, each what Black spent in just TWO months on different expenses. Add roughly 40% to get a sense of what they would fully cost today.

Read the (online) room, buddy. In a recent lawsuit, Gregg Starr is accused of scamming a wealthy widow out of nearly $6 million, but he is hardly hiding. Marianne Flippo, whose late husband made his fortune on @roblox, the online game that has become something close to a full-time occupation for every New York private-school boy in New York under 12, says she met Starr through high-end escort agency Cowboys 4 Angels. Starr’s Instagram—gregg.starr1—is still public and very much active, with recent runway photos and a bio that says “private equity.” In today’s letter at www.readrps.com and link in bio. by @readrps

Last night, Hermès celebrated its new Williamsburg store with a dinner where the tables may have stolen the show. The miniature-city tablescapes were designed by Hermès International and produced by STUDIO BOUM.

The celebration took place in Brooklyn ahead of the permanent store’s public debut at 130 Berry Street. Hermès officially opens the doors Saturday, September 19, with all 16 of the house’s métiers spread across two floors. Photos by @lanierhicks @malachinyc @eyeswoon. Some of New York and London’s $$$ gyms are getting stricter about phones, filming and member privacy. Independent Training Spot recently emailed trainers to remind their clients not to film, DM or gossip about celebrity/high-profile clients. At VOSK Center (about $42,000 a year, where Bill Ackman is a member) a @readrps subscriber and member says repeated filming can put your membership at risk. Equinox has tightened its rules (especially the pricey UES E location), while London clubs Bodyism and KX go even further.

As content creation becomes a career aspiration, is privacy actually becoming…a luxury? In the latest letter at www.readrps.com and link in bio. by @readrps
