Keep your rangefinder attached while you use it. Clip the large hook to a pack D-ring and attach the loop end to your device. Check both connections before you head out.

Some of the best memories from the field don’t involve filling a tag.

The last evening deserves the same effort as opening morning. Give yourself time to glass and make the most of the hunt you still have.

Ever filled a tag on the last evening?

A heavy pack and a hard climb out. That’s the kind of tired you work all year for.

Long after your legs quit hurting, you’ll still be talking about that hunt. by @caribougear

@caribougear rifle cover worked perfectly on my @cvaofficial muzzleloader! Making sure to keep my load and barrel dry.

Then I’m using the @rydr.industries Match 9 V2 Bipod for a shooting support!

Take a minute to check the tarp after you pitch it. Look at the wind, where water will run off, and whether your pack is tucked clear of the edges. A little room to sit and reach your gear makes a difference when you're waiting out weather. by @caribougear

Keep your spare rounds together and in the same place each hunt. Check that you can reach the pouch with your jacket and pack on.

What’s special about hunting in Alaska is exactly this. Laying eyes on big, vast, remote country that not many people will ever see. That’s what makes Alaska special. by @caribougear

Put your jacket and pack on before adjusting your bino harness. Then try getting your binos out and back in with gloves on. Check for straps that catch or pull when you move. A few minutes at the truck can save you from fiddling with the fit all morning. by @caribougear

For us, this is what it’s all about. From taking care of the meat in the field, to processing, to sitting down and eating clean wild game antelope burgers. It doesn’t get much better than that. by @caribougear
