If you’re also looking for an apartment in Paris after moving abroad, I regret to inform you that you DO have to call and you DO have to spend an ungodly time scrolling apartment hunting sites </333 but it will be worth it. allegedly.

exactly how I moved to Paris in my 20s !!

🌟 spent 5 years in a different city dreaming of my next move
🌟 got my career in the right place so I could make the leap
🌟 spent endless hours learning about the visa application process
🌟 accepted that there would be discomfort in the unknown

and I believe you can do it too!

something I’ve learned as a foreigner looking for my first apartment after moving abroad to Paris? It’s easier to get viewings for expensive places lol. €1275 still felt steep for this area and I knew I wouldn’t be happy with how dark it is (especially because I work from home!). the search continues 🤭🤭

soooo I potentially found an apartment in Paris after just one viewing? (And months of messaging but who’s counting?) (I am)

no but I feel silly cause taking this flat could mean a superrrr quick and easy process but it also feels too easy? like I kinda want to go through the journey? aka moving abroad makes life more difficult so now im suspicious of simple processes lol

I feel so incredibly lucky that I put in the work to make a freelance career for myself and move abroad :’). This isn’t my everyday office (I’m usually in sweats on the couch), but travel is one of many perks 🫶🏽

failing at French, failing at being adventurous with my coffee order, and failing at vlogging all in one go 🙏🏽🙏🏽🤭
