Our staff meeting today: headphones on, hoodies up, zero PowerPoint. 🎧🧡

David and Carlos are in the middle of a very serious technical briefing, and yes, it's mostly dancing. Behind them, the wind is doing 20 knots, the lagoon is flat, and someone else's student is standing up on the board for the first time.

That's how we do it at Kite Buen Hombre. Safety first, 3,000+ students since 2013, and we never take ourselves too seriously.

I teach beginners here. I see the difference every day.

Buen Hombre is calm. Flat, shallow water that lets you learn without fear. Reliable wind. Short walks from our lodging to the beach. We build skills step by step — kite control, body-drags, water re-launch, then board starts.

Cabarete is different. Open ocean. Waves, freestyle and big-air lines for when you’re ready. Same team, same coaches, different playground.

My advice: learn in Buen Hombre. Progress there, then move to Cabarete to test everything you’ve built. Many guests do both on one trip — learning then playing, slow then wild.
