2026 US Championships Recap:

My 4th US Championships as a judge.
My 9th year being apart of the NGJA.
Grateful for the opportunities, education, mentors and people I’ve gotten to meet thanks to this organization! 👨🏻‍⚖️🤸🏻‍♂️📝

2026 US Championships Results:

1 World Championships Team Member
1 Senior Development Team Member
4 Senior National Team Members

7/29 of the hardest working athletes I’ve ever worked with. Forever grateful for the small role I got to play in your gymnastics journeys. LA 2028 will be here before you know it—stay the course. #ENG #FTA #ABG 🌲

Judge’s hospitality was pretty mid this year.

On a serious note, can’t wait to see this guy back in action. 🥇

Change my mind:

Victor is the best photographer and videographer for men’s gymnastics in America. 🇺🇸

Master Scorer on Floor.

YOU START WHEN I SAY YOU CAN START. 👨🏻‍⚖️

You don’t train for a marathon, you just run it!

Step 1: you start running.
Step 2: …

There is no step 2.

The best day of my life came when Thom called me saying I got the job. Since that day I gave it everything I had to prove that I was worthy of this opportunity. The day then came where I was told there would no longer be a third assistant coach position at Stanford.

For 615 days, I learned what it meant to be apart of a culture that pushed athletes to their best and held everyone to the same standard. I was privileged to work with the best athletes and coaches in the world. I learned that in order to win a national championship, you had to earn it in the gym every single day, and then you pick up the trophy the day of competition. I learned what it meant to be intentional with your training, to put in the numbers in a quality way, and that everyone has a role on the team—whether they are the four on the floor or not.

To Austyn, thank you for being the rock of the team, your investment and dedication to the guys inspired me every workout, and it’s a fact that their success would not have been possible without you. To Ruben, Mitchell, and Thom, thank you for taking a chance on a 25 year old kid who wanted this so badly. Learning the ins and outs of how an NCAA program is run at the highest level was invaluable to me, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this team.

To the athletes I got to work with, there was nothing I loved more than getting to be your coach. The energy, culture, and memories created will stay with me for the rest of my life. I can’t thank y’all enough for taking me in and listening to my corrections. You guys made me the luckiest guy on the planet and I learned so much from each and every one of you. You are all world class, in and out of the gym, and you deserve every amount of success and greatness coming your way.

As much as I wish I could help contribute to the next 50 championships, God has other plans! I leave Stanford on the highest note possible: a FIG Brevet Judge, program manager, and National Champion. GO STANFORD! 🌲🖤 #GoStanford #ENG #ABG #OpenToWork 😉

Hyperion. 50 straight years of winning a national championship. EARNED NOT GIVEN!

Forever in debt to you four. Thank you for everything.

Blessed and unbelievably grateful to do what I do. This one was special!!!

The babies did well at Regionals! Many friendships made across many states, followed through on some new traditions (Hawaiian Roll/California Roll—shoutout to Vic and Erin for two awesome 8AM sessions), competed new skills, and had a blast while doing it.

Just shy of team by one spot for Julius but 6/6, Noah went 6/6, Makari fought hard and sent his giants, Jonah L broke 50, Jack made his kip and stuck his vault with Jonah M, on JM’s birthday! Proud coach!

The compulsories are motivated and focusing on 2027, next on the list is to hunt for a conference and national championship with the big dawgs. #ENG #FTA #SBGA🌲 taken in Reno Events Center by @carloshojeda
