In the last couple of weeks I have joined "The Online Art Gallery" as one of their artists. This is now my preferred online gallery where many of my artworks will be found and relevant information about them.

I would love you to take a look, and if you would like to follow me, go to the" Follow this artist " box on any of my available works.
To find my work, 1) search The Online Artist Gallery in your browser
2) Go to "our artists" on the menu and search for Caroline Sharp(under C for Caroline Sharp not "S") in the alphabetical list and tap on.
Thankyou for your continued support, it is really appreciated🙂

"Camellia Joy " - oil on canvas( 46cm x 61cm)
A semi abstract piece and a little different for me 🌸

Joy can be found in all sorts of places... in a swim at the beach when it's "oh, so hot"; in a baby's smile; in the first blooms on a new plant....

And often, you don't have to go very far to find it ! by @caroline_sharp_artist

"The Pink Chrysanthanym" - oil on canvas board (21cm x 30cm)

When we are given a gift it may have colours we like or colours we don't... The nature of the gift may be to our liking... or perhaps not.
But it is the love with which the gift is given, that really matters ....

"Beth" - oil on canvas

A painting of my daughter which I came across again recently....
Her comment when I showed it to her again.... "I really like how I look like I blend into nature" I found her comment interesting as I have no recollection of a conscious thought along those lines but maybe it was just a natural choice as "her mum"...

"The Visitor" - oil on canvas

Easter for me, is all about Jesus' death and resurrection. And for me, that is what this painting is
about....

(Painted some years ago after feeling the original painting lacked interest . I turned it upside down and saw the beginnings of this image. From there the above work developed).

"Poppy Love" - oil on canvas (40cm square)

Well, 2026 has gotten off to quite a start ! Belated best wishes to all of you for this still, fairly "new" year. And, thankyou so much to those of you who have continued to take an interest in, and, support me with my artwork.

Over the Christmas period, and during the summer holidays, I became very unwell and needed to stop and take time to recover (hence my recent silence). In many ways, this was rather a "wakeup" call for me as I came to understand that I had let the busyness of life/our culture take over. I realised that I was not making time to be still, to think, to observe and to pray; to listen, to process, and last ( but by no means least) to have fun! That is to say, I needed to get more balance in my life!

Today I am very grateful to God to be feeling well again! and for the opportunity to slow down...to enjoy the moment and the beauty around me, and to make the most of precious relationships by @caroline_sharp_artist
