CAREFUL is a female revenge drama dedicated to raise awareness about sexual violence against women.

Logline: When a secret feminist group assigns Lucie her first mission — to lure an unpunished abuser into a trap — the lines between justice, healing and revenge begin to blur.

The film celebrated its world premiere in Berlin at
GRRL HAUS CINEMA @grrlhauscinema in the „On Healing“ Competition. Since then, it has been shown at many festivals nationally and internationally, including the BIFA-qualifying Women X Festival @womenxfest in the UK, the 13th CineFem International Film Festival in Uruguay, the 8th Let’s Start the Revolution International Film Festival in Poland @letsstarttherevolution, the 8th Courage Film Festival in Berlin @couragefilmfestival.
We were also a finalist at the Women Life Freedom International Film Festival in Australia/USA, and we won the prize for „Best Gender Equality, Issues and Rights Film“ at the Madonie Film Festival in Sicily.
Most recently, we had a stop at the 24th FILMZ Festival des deutschen Kinos in Mainz @filmz_mainz, and we are soon heading to the 46th European Film Festival Göttingen @filmfest.goettingen!

Our film was also listed in the Short Film Corner
Catalogue at Marché du Film in Cannes as well as in the ShortFilmWire Catalogue at the Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival.

In addition to our festival run, we also carry out impact screenings. For example, we held a screening on the topic of healing in Bologna in cooperation with Centro Delle Donne @casadonnebo and the cultural Center Dumbo @dumbo.space and next week we will host an event with a screening and talk afterwards in cooperation with EWA Frauenzentrum in Berlin @ewa_frauenzentrum.

We can’t wait to hear what festival and event is next!

Christmas is around the corner. This golden photo of our trip to Cannes in May feels like the right way to end the year. We wish you a wonderful time with your loved ones and hope you are looking forward to the new year despite the difficult times ahead. Even though the current political landscape makes it harder for us every day, we have to strengthen our communities and not be afraid to demand the support for diverse storytelling and teams we deserve. Let’s stay together and defend the culture we all need! by @carousel.film
