Finally - CAREFUL in Paris !

We're very happy to announce that “Careful” has two screenings coming up this week end:

On Saturday, October 10, the film will be screened from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. during the festival organized by @outoftheblue_paris in Paris 11 .

On Sunday, October 11, it will be screened at the 27th edition of the Pontault Combault International First Short Film Festival (77).

The director Camille Lagaisse and editor Emilie Contensou will be in attendance.

What a joy to be able to present the film where part of the post-production took place—specifically, the editing by @emctsou and the sound mixing by Sébastien Savine.

Mit dem neuen „Familienzuschuss“ unterstützt nordmedia Film- und Medienproduktionen dabei, Familie und Beruf besser miteinander zu vereinbaren.
Gefördert werden u.a. Maßnahmen zur Kinder- und Familienbetreuung, bei Pflegeverantwortung, Jobsharing-Modelle sowie die Umsetzung von 4-Tage-Drehwochen. Das Förderprogramm startet zunächst als Pilotphase und wurde gemeinsam mit einer Arbeitsgruppe von PROG Producers of Germany entwickelt.

Wir laden euch herzlich zur Online-Infoveranstaltung ein.

We’re very proud to share that CAREFUL has been selected for the 55th Sehsüchte Film Festival @sehsuechte

The film will run in the Special Section « Social Impact: Storytelling and Producing. »

The section highlights activist and socially critical films that spark conversations around human rights, sustainability, and the fight against injustice, aiming to drive meaningful social change.

As part of this section, CAREFUL will be screened as part of the program “In Plain Sight.”

Maritza Grass ist eine Produzentin und studierte im B.A. Kultur- und Medienwissenschaften an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin und im M.A. Film- und Fernsehproduktion an der Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. Ihr Kurzfilm FREIE NÄCHTE wurde für den NEXT GENERATION SHORT TIGER ausgewählt und lief auf Festivals weltweit. Der Animationsfilm I AM A FLOWER feierte seine Weltpremiere beim 28. Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn. Ihr Abschlussfilm DIE FEIGE SCHÖNHEIT feierte Weltpremiere bei den 58. Hofer Filmtagen und gewann den Preis für die Beste Bildgestaltung auf dem IFFF Dortmund+Köln. Maritza war VFF-Stipendiatin und ist Mitglied bei ProQuote Film. Im Jahr 2022 gründete sie Carousel Film. 2024 nahm sie an Match Me! Locarno, dem Cutting Edge Talent Camp und dem Breaking into the Industry Programm der Tallinn Industry Days teil.

Wie kann die Filmbranche familienfreundlicher werden? In dieser Folge sprechen @lotteruffilms und @maritzatiziani über Lösungsansätze aus ihrer Masterarbeit.
Die Filmbranche gilt als kreativ, dynamisch und fordernd - aber familienfreundlich? Kaum. Für viele Filmschaffende scheint der Alltag am Set schwer vereinbar mit dem Familienleben. Laut einer Studie der Filmförderungsanstalt
(FFA) empfinden nur 1% der Befragten die Branche überhaupt als familienfreundlich. Für ein Arbeitsumfeld, das stark auf Teamarbeit angewiesen ist und unter Fachkräftemangel leidet, ist das ein alarmierendes Signal.
Dass es auch anders geht - in Theorie und Praxis - zeigen die Produzentinnen Lotte Ruf und Maritza Grass, mit denen Susanne in dieser Folge spricht. Im Rahmen ihrer Masterarbeit an der Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF haben sie auf rund 200 Seiten die strukturellen Probleme der Branche analysiert und zahlreiche Lösungsansätze entwickelt, die Film und Familie in Einklang bringen. In Folge der Arbeit ist ein 20-seitiger Leitfaden für Produzent*innen entstanden, der mittlerweile in verschiedenen Produktionen zum Einsatz kommt.
