Last night Women Love Travel attended the Food Trail South Africa Season Four launch event.

Sydney’s acclaimed Woodcut has been shortlisted in the Australia – Hotel category at the prestigious Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.

Created by Loopcreative, the design brief was to capture the spirit of global travel experienced by chef and restaurateur @ross_lusted and co-owner @sunnylusted transforming those inspirations into a uniquely Australian dining destination within @crownsydney Sydney.

Art and sculpture play a central role throughout the space, with warm timber, natural stone and handcrafted details reflecting the restaurant’s connection to nature and the elemental cooking techniques at its heart.

In the kitchen, award-winning chef Ross Lusted showcases premium Australian produce cooked over wood, charcoal and steam, with signature dishes that celebrate simplicity, seasonality.
