This loop is super popular for a reason. Night one was a large lake with many other backpackers. Night two was a small lake all to myself. Bonus was seeing a bear everyday.📍Quileute Homelands #carrieisahappyhiker #olympicnationalpark by @carrie.mccaleb

A long walk through the woods part 2. Day 3 Camp Wilder to Elkhorn Camp. Day 4 Elkhorn Camp to Home. Absolutely stunning moments in the forest even with rain on day 3. Day 4 was my longest hike to ever at 24 miles! 📍Klallam Homelands #carrieisahappyhiker #olympicnationalpark #pressexpedition by @carrie.mccaleb

A long walk through the woods part 1. Day 1 starting at North Fork Quinault to Sixteen Mile Camp. Day 2 Sixteen Mile Camp to Camp Wilder. After the first seven miles I didn’t see anyone else. Just me, my thoughts and nature. 📍Quinault and Klallam Homelands #carrieisahappyhiker #olympicnationalpark #pressexpedition by @carrie.mccaleb
