Helping high-achieving women over 40 lose the last 10-30 lbs for good without sacrificing muscle 💪🏻
GLP-1 microdosing + labs + macros + foundations
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

1️⃣GLP-1 is a hormone your body already makes, discovered in the 1980s
2️⃣ The synthetic version has existed since 1996
3️⃣ FDA approved for type 2 diabetes in 2005
4️⃣ One of the most studied medication classes out there

So the medication isn’t new. What’s newer is using it differently, in smaller amounts.

That’s microdosing. Lower dose, slower pace, staying low instead of chasing a big number. For a lot of women in perimenopause, it’s less about dramatic weight loss and more about quieting food noise and steadying cravings.

What I didn’t expect: how much that changes day to day. Fewer 3pm crashes. Less negotiating with yourself over food.

Microdosing works best with real nutrition support underneath it. Protein, meal timing, blood sugar strategy, the stuff that actually matches what your body’s doing hormonally right now.

I’m not here to tell you what to do with your body. I just don’t think fear should make the decision for you.

Comment PEP and I’ll send you what I’ve learned, no pressure, just information.

Things I wish I started 6 years ago...

Not because they were trendy.

Not because social media told me to.

But because my body NEEDED them.

Most of these weren’t about doing MORE...
they were about doing the right things at the right time.

✔ supporting hormones instead of fighting them
✔ fueling my body instead of under-eating
✔ building muscle and prioritizing recovery
✔ investing in guidance instead of guessing

If you’re in your late 30s / 40s and feel like your body suddenly changed the rules… you’re not broken. You just need a different strategy.

Save this. Share it with a friend who needs to hear it.

The “hack” really is in the work. 💪 by @carrotsncake

This is probably too much information, but here’s some stuff I do to look better in my 40s…

▶️Beans + ground beef. Gross? Maybe. 😂 But I eat this meal almost daily with BBQ sauce. Protein, fiber, minerals, nutrients. Easy!

▶️Glutathione injections.
They hurt. But they’re part of my wellness routine and benefit just about everythinggggg, so I deal with the sting.

▶️Face taping.
I originally used old K-tape from my CrossFit days, and it was BLACK. My husband thought I looked like Batman, so now he always asks, “Fighting wrinkles tonight?” 😂

▶️“Poop powder.”
I used to hate fiber supplements, thinking they were a lazy way to get fiber, but my husband’s GI doc, who spends most of his time studying colon cancer, recommended a prebiotic fiber powder. Now I add it to most meals.

▶️Coconut water.
A LOT of it. I’m obsessed. I swear, if more women cared about the potassium in their diet, they’d feel a whole lot better!

▶️Going to bed ridiculously early.
Upstairs at 8. Read fiction. Lights out by 9. No excuses.

▶️Mini suction cups for my face.
Basically a tiny facial massage. I also love Dr. Perry Nickelston’s Big 6 for lymphatic flow. I tried to do each of these a few times per week.

▶️Schroth for scoliosis
One of my best investments! Combined with strength training, it helps me work on strength, posture, movement, and keeping my body feeling good.

None of this is particularly glamorous. I’d rather consistently do the boring/weird stuff than chase some magical anti-aging hack, like the plant “peptides” or arnica trends or laying in a hot plastic sauna bag. 🥴

▶️▶️What’s something weird, gross, or slightly ridiculous you do that makes you feel better in your 40s? Tell me so I can add it to the list! by @carrotsncake

Maybe the problem is that we’ve made women feel like they need a “good enough” reason to want to lose weight.

It has to be for your health.
It has to be for better bloodwork.
It has to be because your doctor told you to.

But what if you just want to feel better in your clothes, feel more confident in your body, or just like how you look?

Hell, maybe you want to improve your quality of life and have more s3x with your partner. 😂

That doesn’t make you vain.

You’re allowed to have aesthetic goals, too! 💪🏻💃

Just don’t sacrifice your health, strength, nutrition and muscle in the process.

Wanting to change your body isn’t the problem. How you go about it is what matters!

Lifting heavy is a given. You’re watching it.

These are the three things I do on top of it.

1. I eat a real breakfast.
Eggs. Potatoes. Fruit. Usually some avocado.

I spent way too many years trying to make breakfast as low-calorie and “healthy” as possible. I’d eat a Lite N Fit yogurt with some Kashi cereal and call it breakfast. 🤪

Now I just eat actual food that keeps me full and gives me energy.

Crazy, I know. 😂

#2. I get outside before I get sucked into my phone.

I work from home, so if I’m not intentional about it, I can easily go from bed → computer → 47 tabs open without realizing I haven’t been outside. 🥴

3. I make my meals hit the protein + fiber + flavor trifecta.
This is probably one of the biggest things I do differently now.

Protein so I’m actually satisfied.
Fiber from fruits, veggies, beans, potatoes, etc.
And FLAVOR because I’m not eating sad diet food just to hit some imaginary “perfect” meal.

Sauce. Butter. Cheese. Seasonings. Whatever makes the meal actually taste good.

Because if your food is boring, you’re going to be thinking about what else you could eat approximately 14 minutes later. 😂

None of these are complicated.

I just do them over and over again.

That’s the boring stuff that actually works.

Oh yea, and 5g of creatine daily! 💪🏻
