TEAM CASE UPDATE ❤️⛪️

WE ARE MOVING.

To plant a church @sol.myrtle in the heart of Myrtle Beach.

Built on prayer, the presence of God & people.

This has been a 7 year dream in our hearts that the Lord revealed again to us, over the last few months. We met & fell in love in this place. This is the biggest “Yes” for our family. A season of life filled with seeking, prayer, fasting, friendships, community & many more. 2026 confirmed in us a calling to minster full time, build a House for His glory & began again. This time with our three children, Cash, Cruz, and Phoenix.

Over the years, God has been so kind to our family. Providing every step of the way, allowing us to cultivate a life we love in Orlando with so many friends. We can honestly say He has been in every detail. This is a fire that began to grow in our bones that we couldn’t ignore.

THIS IS A HUGE STEP FOR OUR FAMILY. In the next 30 days, we are moving to Myrtle. We would love to invite you into this journey, in prayer & financial partnership. We are praying & believing for 120+ kingdom partners as we move in faith.

Why SOL? Origin story 🕊️❤️‍🔥⛪️

Many people have asked us where the name SOL came from, what it stands for, and why we chose it and honestly, it’s a story that goes way back.

10 years ago God birthed a young adults movement in Myrtle Beach, Coastal Carolina University, called Young & Free. Young people on fire for Jesus, loving others & seeking freedom that couldn’t be found in every day things.

One night at 230AM in this same season, we began praying through a name change, & the Holy Spirit brought a word from 2 Corinthians 3:17:

“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

College students wanted freedom. We wanted freedom. We can’t get free on our own. Our efforts weren’t enough.

SOL — Spirit Of the Lord movement was born.

That ministry became a huge part of our story with God. It’s where we met & spent years leading and serving alongside an incredible friends. Eventually, the Lord made it clear that our time there was complete. We moved to Charleston, and the chapter of SOL came to a close.

(There was a notebook in 2018 of planting SOL)

This year 2026, the Lord began stirring our hearts toward planting a church & obeying with full hearts. We found ourselves coming back to the name SOL again and again. We prayed & fasted, we sought the Lord deeply asking the questions! Again? Old dreams? It’s been 7 years maturing in our faith & family? Now?!

The more we prayed, there was peace & vision.

On April 11th—the very day we felt the Lord clearly confirm Myrtle Beach as the region we were being called to plant—we were at a birthday party in Orlando FL. We pleaded, “give us a sign Lord.”

In that moment, a stranger introduced themselves to us saying “my name is SOL.”

So why SOL?

Because we believe people encounter true freedom & healing in the presence of the Lord.

Not personas, labels, brands, or our own efforts…

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord.” Zechariah 4:6

We believe SOL to be gathering place of His people, for His name & for His glory. Authentic.

We must move out of the way & allow the Lord to move our hearts, thoughts, ideas & strategies.

Your kids want to move with you.

Physical fitness isn’t just helping you, it’s preparing them.

Our kids have energy all day.

Movement matters for the family team.

It’s easy to tell them in 2026:
Go watch tv
Go grab the iPad
Play in your room
I’ll make time for you later
Turn on YouTube
Go learn from someone else 💔

As a parent, I fall into this trap. Change the script!

What if we motivated them to MOVE?
Get out in play. Workout with me. Let’s do it together.

What if we lived it for them? Lead.

Our kids don’t just want words, they want an example.

Invite them into your world.

We all want our kids to be healthy, get outside, reduce screen time, have fun - it’s starts with us.

Show them by modeling it & making it fun.

Push-ups, squats, run the neighborhood, make the playroom on obstacle course, challenge them to push their comfort zone, tell them to count, chase them, etc.

Not by accident ❤️ a story about being a Dad & discipleship.

This picture brought me to tears. My 5 year old son. For a long time now he’s watched men gather in my house, in the garage, for workouts & time with God. I’ve never told my son to do these things with me. I’ve never said it’s his job, or his chore, or a rule in being my kid. But somewhere along the way recently - he asks.

Daddy, can I put my workout clothes on & join the guys?
Daddy, can I have an extra Bible?
Daddy, what page are we on?
Daddy, what are their names? Who is each guy?

Now, what I have shared with him all along is this:
This is why I do this son.
I love the Lord, I love these men.
I love fitness because it helps me be better for our family.
Names are important son - it shows that you care.
If anything, care deeply about people.

Our kids see an example enough times & they begin to ask why? Why this? What for?

A child wants to follow an example - especially when they see fruit, benefits, joy. It’s the Lord.

To me, this picture is not about what Carson does or doesn’t do, but it’s a picture of our kids when they see a culture they want to follow. They see something they want to be apart of. In Love, they want to join.

It’s emotional for me just reflecting on God’s goodness.

The home is the ministry home base.
Discipleship starts with our kids & what they catch.
If not there - then Where?

I realized last week that when I see my son asks for a Bible, turned to Colossians 1, ask for workout clothes, introduce himself to other men, sit, pay attention, pray & ask what’s next - it is not by accident.

It’s a culture & heartbeat that is built.

What am I building? What are we building? What do our kids feel invited into? What am I doing every day to bring them on mission? What could I start doing today that would impact the future?

Start with these 5 things today 👇

1) get a hard copy Bible & start in Psalms/Proverbs.
Read & get quiet here before you do any busy work.
Go to this same spot every day, distraction free.
Pray out-loud.

2) workout 20+ minutes daily, 4x weekly
(Ex: pushups, squats, lunges, carry, core, walk, run)
Don’t need a corporate gym to start. Start in your garage or front yard. Put it on your calendar & set a timer. Bonus is to add an outdoor walk after every session.

3) go to Walmart or Dollar Tree & buy a legal pad.
Take notes every day for a month. Examples below:
-3 things I need to get done
-how do I feel, why, be honest
-anyone I need to contact & what for
-wins or gratitude from the day
-what did I learn, quote or conversation

4) Food & Drink plan. Start with these: meats, eggs, fruits, veggies & honey. Gallon of water daily. Clean out your fridge or pantry if it’s not the simple things. Write down what you eat & check in with yourself every 7 days.
Bonus: limit alcohol to 1 night per week.

5) find one person or community that has what you desire.
You know them. You have their #. Or you see them online. Reach out to them right now. Join the group that will give you no option but to have a better life in 100 days.

JAN 2026 “retreat” Men on fire.

Another strong trip for BHP MEN this month to kick off a new season & exciting year.

Our mission is clear: grow, train, develop, disciple.

Every man wants to grow.
Every man needs to train because life is hard.
Development has no finish line. Take a next step.
Every moment to see God, know Him & live well.

You could be single, dating, married, a father, business owner, leader or trying to figure out one next step - men need men. We take notes. We push the body. We are open to feedback. We want stronger minds & spirits that bless our families. The journey never ends.

I believe confidence, clarity & getting specific are essential to forming men for every day life.

It takes getting uncomfortable.
Sharing your life.
Sharing fears, tears, heartache & surrender.
God meets us. He sees you.
Then we take steps met with accountability.

This is not about best or worst, guilt or shame.

It’s men. Being human. Navigating us, our lives, our habits, those we love & operating better.

I love seeing guys break through.
I love seeing small wins turn into life change.
I love seeing HOMES better because the man is better.

TO EVERY young father living it 🚨

There is beauty & grind the moment you start life together. I remember we had Cash for 3 months & made a major life move to a new city. Not too long after Cruz was born. The boys are 12 months apart. What I felt was like many of us probably feel: the fear of not knowing, the headache of sleepless nights, professionally not feeling great enough, wanting to love my wife, build my home & settle things down. I learned quickly that you can only control what you can control. From Day 1 - you as the father are setting an example. We are crafting an aroma, an attitude & a spirit in our home that these little ones are looking to. I’ll never forget in the first two years going on a run one night & bawling my eyes out, crying out to God. I don’t know what I am doing! I am overwhelmed! I still feel like a kid, God?!? Like Lord forreal WTH am I even doing. I remember sleepless nights running to the cribs & laying hands on my boys - praying. Praying for God to move in their hearts, our home, my life & to do work that I couldn’t do myself. I think about fighting for time, peace & quiet & feeling like it was so far off 90% of the time. I think back to crazy boys above running around in diapers smiling at me, jumping, laughing, popping, etc - & the joy in our house just being MOM & DAD. These moments, man. I sit here tonight & think back. The weight of responsibility & still today. With weight on your shoulders. Being honest. Being vulnerable. Praying consistently. Taking care of yourself so YOU can pour out to them - mentally, physically & spiritually. Loving my wife in the best way because TODAY - they see it. They know wassup. The aroma & culture we are in charge of, they are watching every move. Lean in.

When I look back…
I realize how tough it felt (still does today)
I realize mind/body/$$ it felt impossible (He provides)
I realize I needed to become a better man for my boys.
I needed the Lord, His Word & His wisdom.
I realized prayer wasn’t a thing, it was our lifeline. Daily.
Our words & our energy, important to the home.
