Yesterday, I made one of the most meaningful decisions of my life. I got baptized. 🙏🏼

Looking back, it’s amazing to see how God has been working in my life.

In August 2024, @carson_case invited me to join a men’s group called BHP and told me he was going to buy me my first Bible. Little did I know how much that one conversation would change my life.

That December, I took a leap of faith and traveled to the mountains of Georgia for a retreat with 11 guys I had never met in person. It was completely outside my comfort zone, but something was telling me I needed to be there.

Since then, my life has been transformed. I’ve grown closer to God, found more peace, gotten engaged to my beautiful fiancée, and been blessed with the opportunity to help more families find homes. Life isn’t perfect, but my perspective and faith have never been stronger.

A huge shoutout to @pjcrez3 , who connected me with Carson and has been an incredible mentor. PJ has shown me what it means to lead with faith, especially in the workplace, creating an environment where people feel comfortable talking about God and praying together.

This past September, my pastor preached about slothfulness and how a lack of initiative can lead to apathy. One message stuck with me:

“Delayed obedience is disobedience.”

That hit home. I knew God had been calling me to get baptized, and it was time to stop putting it off.

Yesterday, I answered that calling. And I couldn’t think of anyone better to baptize me than Carson, the same person who helped start this journey. A true full-circle moment.

I’m far from perfect and still have so much growing to do, but I’ve learned that sometimes the biggest blessings come from stepping outside your comfort zone and trusting God’s plan.

God is SO good. His timing is perfect, and His power is greater than we can imagine.

A new beginning. LETS GOO!

Time is already flying + I haven't even shared these last few precious memories in Orlando. Some REALLY hard goodbyes and see you laters. Our home, our people, our church family, and of course the mouse (even tho we went twice in our 5 years 🤣 shout out @maddymoak )

really praising God for the abundance of community + deep joy that we felt over the last several years. It was not without moments of sacrifice, suffering, and sorrow... but looking back I am so grateful for every moment because it was truly more than we could have asked or imagined!

A "don't blink" type of moment.

Missing our Florida house today ❤️ our neighbors, our rhythms, our routines. That home was pretty much all the boys have ever known. Three years feels like such a little piece of time in the grand scheme but at these ages... wow it's monumental.

But in a two things can be true type of way, I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed us with a new home to make new memories and new friends, to be a house of prayer and where people can meet and know Jesus deeper!
