‘Sad? Nonsense! Parting with friends is a sadness. A place is only a place. And Arrakis is just another place.’

Thank you @georgiatech for 4 amazing years with the smartest, funniest, silliest, greatest (I can keep going) people in the world. It was more than I ever dreamed it could be, I’m so incredibly proud to be a Yellow Jacket and a Helluva Engineer (pls bring back Brittain) #gtalumni #THWg taken in Georgia Institute of Technology by @carsonveal25

Senior Design team Linebackers partnered with the Georgia Tech Athletic Association (GTAA) to design the systems that shape the fan experience at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Using queuing theory, discrete simulation, and resource optimization, the team modeled stadium ingress, traffic flow, and concession operations to identify bottlenecks and prescribe solutions that increases throughput rate and reduce variability in service performance.

The outcome is an improved throughput capacity, reduced wait times, and as a result a smoother, more engaging game day experience for fans while supporting sustainable operational performance.
In combination with more efficient queuing in the concessions system, this will increase revenue from concessions sales and improve fan retention overall.
