5K run. 15 pull-ups. 50 push-ups.

When I left Spain over two months ago, I set myself one goal: end the summer with a 5–15–50.

At the time, I could barely do 5 pull-ups and 30 push-ups. Today, I completed it.

This achievement means a lot.

After seven active years of regularly going to the gym and even finishing on the podium in two Spartan Age Group races, I stopped training in January 2025. For nearly two years, I kept trying to get back, but I could never build momentum. I lost a lot of muscle, became frustrated, and honestly started wondering if this was the end of my fitness phase.

Then I found @gspot_fitnessgym, a gym in naga, where I rediscovered the joy of training and finally got back on track.

I’m not yet where I used to be, but now I know I can get there. And I’m so happy. 💪 by @carx

For 13 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Honorary Consul of Spain for Bicol, something I honestly never imagined I would do, but which has become one of the highest honors of my life.

This year’s Philippine–Spanish Friendship Day felt extra special: the first time we celebrated it with Mayor Leni Robredo as Mayor of Naga.

What a weekend with the fam at Camp Explore, guided by the amazing Kit Llamas. We dove deep into the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families—and came out stronger, closer, and more connected.

The kids jumped into every activity, and we shared real conversations filled with laughter, tears, and cherished memories. One of the most powerful moments was sharing our lifelines—the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

Tucked away in Naga, @canarium4400 is a culinary gem run by three talented siblings. The eldest brother runs the front of house with quiet charm, while his sisters create Impressionism-inspired dishes in the kitchen—haute cuisine that’s beautifully unpretentious and deeply satisfying.

Every plate has locally sourced ingredients, thoughtfully crafted and executed with finesse. The service? Impeccable. The price? Almost too good to be true.

I didn’t expect to find something this refined in Naga with hardly any fine dining—but here it is, open only 3 nights a week, by reservation only, and only until June 2026.
