I didn’t know what I was looking for…until I found it.

This weekend gave me a lot to reflect on. The steps in my day job that made me seek out other options. My own health journey that helped lead me to learn about nutrition. And each step along her way let me to where I am with make.

The yes that I thought could change my health has helped with so much more.

If you’re wondering what it could do for you, comment more and let’s chat. by @caryl_paw

15 years ago, I wasn’t a runner.

10 years ago, I didn’t own a business.

5 years ago, I didn’t eat to fuel my body.

And for most of my life, I definitely wasn’t prioritizing my health and nutrition.

If you had told me then what my life would look like today, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.

That’s why I want to remind the woman who’s feeling stuck right now:

Keep going.

Keep taking the walk.
Keep making the healthier choice.
Keep showing up for the dream.
Keep doing the things that future you will thank you for.

Because the version of you you’re working toward may be someone you can’t even see yet.

And one day you’ll look back and realize all those small choices changed everything. 💛 by @caryl_paw

For years, injections were just part of my life.

So when I first heard the word peptides, I assumed it meant more shots. And I was NOT going there again.

What I didn’t know is that our bodies already make thousands of peptides naturally. They’re constantly sending messages that help regulate things like muscle, metabolism, sleep, recovery, hydration, and so much more.

Think of them as text messages for your cells. 📲

Most people have only heard about synthetic peptide injections. I was surprised to learn there’s a whole other side to the conversation—natural bioactive peptides that work with your body’s existing systems.

As someone who worked hard alongside my doctor to get off injections for my MS, learning this completely changed my perspective.

And if you’ve been following my journey, you know I’m all about finding simple ways to support my health, energy, strength, recovery, and healthy aging.

That’s why I keep coming back to these four:
✨ FIT
✨ LEAN
✨ RESTORED
✨ HYDRATED

They’re my daily favorites, and this week you can save $148 on the full stack plus get a bonus freebie through 6/30.

A late October check-in because you don’t need to wait for January 1st to make yourself a priority.

Start small.
Start messy.
Start today.

Save this for the days you need a reminder or send it to a friend who might need a little nudge too. by @caryl_paw

Mandy has inspired me for years. Balancing teaching, motherhood, plus building a business. And now showing what’s possible….for other teachers like me, but more importantly for her kids. And today that is waking up in Hawaii on a trip she earned.
“Ten years ago, I was finishing grad school as a single mom of four, teaching full time, tutoring & piecing things together to make ends meet.

Taking my entire family to Hawaii? It wasn’t even something I allowed myself to dream about.
But life can change a LOT in 10 years.

There have been pivots, scary decisions, opportunities I could’ve said no to, a whole lot of hard work & choosing to dream bigger than what felt possible.

And somewhere in all of that, my kids were watching.
I hope this trip shows them what can happen when you work hard, dream big & are brave enough to take a chance on yourself.”

In education we don’t get bonuses or overtime and we can’t earn trips. We show up each day and do the best we can with what we have for those kids in front of us. It’s a calling and a service, and it’s why we do it.

But it doesn’t mean we don’t want more, or something else in our life that gives us that possibility. So thank you Mandy, for showing me right along with your kids what is possible when you take a chance on yourself. by @caryl_paw

Mocktails on this rest day Sunday. My husband and I have been marathon training alcohol-free for 55 days, but wanted some fun island vibes on this fall day.

Power Punch,🍍 juice, and 🥥 water for the win!
I’m not saying we won’t toast that marathon finish but training and recovery have gone so much better without the drinks!

I’m sure there are measurements that I should have followed but it tasted pretty perfect.

Great flavor, only a bit of sugar from the juice, and we are toasting the start of taper time!

What’s your favorite mocktail to make at home? by @caryl_paw

We spent so many years rushing through days, passing like ships in the night, and using weekends to recover. Just to do it all over again.

Now we live more purposefully.
Slow Sunday morning, 2 cups of coffee, taking time to cast vision together.

These mornings have become one of my favorite ways to connect.

I don’t want to just live this life together, I want to enjoy time with the man I’m building it with. by @caryl_paw

Longest run of the training cycle: 20 miles.

Fuel: loaded up.
Water: full.
Running buddy: ready to meet me for the final 5.

Marathon training is a whole different kind of commitment. And on a day like this it feels a little nuts. by @caryl_paw

For so much of my life, I always felt like I needed what someone else had to fit in. The right clothes, the right car, the right house. I didn’t feel like enough unless I had what someone else had.

It was as if I didn’t feel like I measured up on my own. I thought being like everyone around me was the key to belonging, the key to feeling happy. Like somehow the right clothes would make me the right person.

I’m learning that being myself will help me belong more than anything else. I need to show up as me, not as someone else. I need to be who God created me to be.

To the girl out there who is still trying to fit in, who feels like she needs to be more like everyone else to be enough, I see you. Because I am you. ❤️ by @caryl_paw

Teaching kindergarten is hard.

But training for a marathon for months on mornings before teaching kindergarten? A different kind of hard.

I have joked for years that I wish I could bottle up the energy in my classroom, and I wouldn’t need coffee. That’s how I used to get through these long days.

Now I’ve got something new to keep me focused and mentally ready for any afternoon—even one after a late open house where the kids were probably up past my bedtime.

This little packet now has the focus I need, without the crash. Plus I’m super picky about what goes in my body and this has none of the things I see in those cans of energy.

Which one are you choosing, peach or punch? by @caryl_paw

At times in my business, I thought I needed to present a perfect life. I tried. I followed what people who were nothing like me were doing. I thought I needed the life they had, not the life I want. It became another thing making me feel like I was not enough.

I know that most people are sharing the highlight reel on here and not their whole truth. I’ve been guilty of doing the same. And I thought that showing up in a perfect way would mean that I was worthy, that I had what it takes. All it did was make me feel pretty discouraged.
I’m realizing that my identity is not the highlight reel. It’s the messy parts that I try to hide. The ridiculous and the frustrating parts. The pile on the table that makes me feel like a disorganized mess. The messy house I should probably clean more. The grumpy monster I become when my day doesn’t go as planned.

I don’t know what all of this means yet. But if you’ve been feeling this, know that I’m right there with you. by @caryl_paw
