California we missed you and you showed us your natural beauty from the mountain to the desert to the ocean. So much gratitude for this gem of a place where we started our marriage almost 30 years ago!

Winter Solstice Hike & Meditation
Sunday, December 21st at 8am

Join us for a 5-mile hike to welcome the returning light of the season. We’ll pause mid-way for a grounding meditation to honor the quiet beauty of winter. Dress warmly, bring water, and if you’re feeling brave, we may cold dip after.

Marisol will guide the hike and Katie will lead the meditation. ♥️ @casa.de.soleil @heartcenteredyogini taken in First Landing State Park by @casa.de.soleil

Full transparency…the last three weeks have been frustrating but a great lesson in patience and listening to my body.

Injuries suck and push back training timelines but they also teach us that we are not invincible and the work + progress is in the journey not the destination.

So here I am going with the flow, rehabbing a knee and hoping for the best but in the end I’m loving this life I get to live with those who love and support me!

Cloudsplitter 50k Training : Week 1 + 2ish

Here we go fam! First full week of training is in the books and finishing up the second soon. Decided I needed a BIG GOAL and challenge and after chatting with my running buddies @clevercurlz + @philieb007 + @alv79 I pulled the trigger 🏃🏽‍♀️‍➡️⛰️💯

This will be a for time power hike (7441 feet elevation) going up and then the same going back down. Ooof!

Besides power hiking + running I’ve added resistance training, yoga, meditation, somatic movement and Mixxedfit dance…with plenty of chilly sunset dips in the ocean.

Follow along on this crazy adventure with me! I’d love all the support I can get :) taken in Norton, Virginia by @casa.de.soleil

I was able to go on a transformative journey of self-discovery and relaxation with mi hermana at her casa in the woods for a Sound Healing Retreat under the new moon!

Nestled in the serene embrace of nature, immersed myself in the soothing melodies and vibrations of singing bowls, crystal bowls, gong, tuning forks and other healing instruments.

This retreat offered me a sanctuary for rejuvenation, deep healing, and reconnection with inner harmony. So grateful for a blissful escape and rediscovery of the power of sound to nourish mind, body, and spirit.

Gracias @thenezshow for your hospitality, spiritual gifts and immense love that I felt so deeply. I’m still marinating and assimilating all the knowledge and downloads from our time together. Te amo! I am! I can! I will!
