#casetober26 day 4–timed challenge! this one was fun to take it easy after coming back from a rest day, since it only took an hour!☺️ My husband chose Jakob as my victim for this prompt, and its overdue that he got some love:3 my lil vigilante psycho mascot brah 🔥🔥 First drawing was under a 30min timer! I was able to do full color, 2 sketch passes, a lineart pass, and some effect layers as well! Crazy how well i do when im not overthinking… maybe i need a timer more often😵‍💫 Second drawing was under a 5min timer! Threw a lil color n shade on that jawn!🔥 Third drawing was under a 1min timer! you can see how inconsistent all my reads are from my reference image… i think its a cool inconsistency though. I’m human!!🌟💃 Finally, the fourth drawing was under a 30sec timer! i did really like the movement in this one. I got in my head alot for all the proceeding attempts ^^’ pure gesture here. by @casecoded

#casetober26 day 3: before & after! I knew i had to draw Hemlock on this one!!! dude had so much taken from him and he decided to become evil about it🥀🥀 hes all mangey, overgrown and feral, he doesnt represent the “proper” appearance or demeanor of a healthy dryad/ent/tree. idk what he is. hes a tree guy ok. Anyways hes being slowly poisoned and thats what happens when trees behave carnivorously 🥀😵‍💫 wisteria trees in the background, iykyk. and im sorry feel free to guess what the butterfly represents!!! symbolism is my weakness i am not subtle in any kind of way good Lord this one destroyed my hand🥀 i dont usually ink this delicately and im lowkey paying for it☠️ AHEM we good tho!!! by @casecoded

#casetober26 day 2: OC vs artist! challenging myself to just draw and not worry too much about the outcome, and just post it cuz its not that deep🌟 a lot of this year’s prompts were inspired by a desire to kill perfectionism; didnt think id be battling it as early as day 2, but then again why am i surprised! xD i don’t really like drawing myself all that much, to be honest. But thats okay🌟 Anyway here is Griffin and I; we both like bright colors!! Or… i do, at least🫣😂🌈 by @casecoded

#casetober26 day 1: first design vs current design! starting off with a redraw, this is how Miles and Dark currently look! the ethereal decay (the black shadow goop) was a later addition and its viscosity has changed a lot over time hehe also theyve both gotten a LOT more cuts and scars and scrapes😵‍💫 And also a redraw of how they USED to look… they both look so PLAIN!!! i was giggling when i drew this cuz theyre just… copy paste, one has green eyes n some cuts?? lol back at this time and even up until a few years ago, ppl would have trouble knowing which is which. I’m happy with how dimorphic they’ve become, i think theyre easier to tell apart now :3 and here’s the original drawing from my sketchbook, circa Feb/March 2018 :) if you can tell, Dark was very heavily inspired by Antisepticeye and Darkiplier cuz i loved reading Deviantart fanfic about that at the time😭 s’when i found out other ppl also enjoy angst and whump and realized im NOT a weird little freak (me when i lie) aww i love my old art. its so sweet to me to look back and remember how much fun i had, and how devoted to learning and practicing lil case was to grow and get better. She put in the work for me bro🌟💛 just doin what she loved. aww 🙃 by @casecoded

here is some more art of the nameless beast🌀 just kinda drew him in a cool place—idk who the girl is or what sort of culture/society she comes from.,,, idk man this concept is really so undefined to me😭 kinda just crowdsourcing the lore and drawing what comes to mind! it’d be fun to become some sort of group story made from many ppls different ideas :3 but yeah! thats all for now,,, by @casecoded

workin’ on a creecher 👹 originally i had made this design for an old friend but they ended up liking a softer/cuter looking version; i always liked my edgy man-beast version so much though🤭 so im kinda bringing him back! not sure what the lore is w him; playing with the idea of him being an alien dumped into a different world than his own, like an isekai, and having to figure stuff out from there while being a sentient, sapient monster to the natives of that world. I think he can also shapeshift into a human form but i’m not sure of this yet. Maybe theres a witch or someone who turns him human to weaken his powers🤷‍♀️ drop yall’s ideas in the comments??✍️🫪🌟 by @casecoded

mass attack on @lumina_bellator , @happodie and @phunkyfrog !!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!! these are characters from our shared Sleep Jumper universe! (synopsis on slide 3!) Every so often a strange interdimensional collective known as the ELLIPSIS choose a “jumper” — a human from Reality 1 (aka our reality) — to maintain, direct, and especially purge unruly characters from other realities as they see fit.
Shane Moody, a late-twenties college dropout trying to find his way in life, wakes up with a keyhole-shaped brand blazed into his forehead, which glows white when an interdimensional gateway is opened. Falling through to the other side, he finds himself in worlds quite unlike our own. And while the ELLIPSIS employ him to remove anomalies from their realities, he finds himself rescuing these anomalies instead and bringing them home with him out of compassion. Kiska (@happodie) is a young girl hails from a far-future place called Elysia, which prides physical beauty and perfection over all else. With dozens of cybernetic enhancements including rocket legs and completely robotic eyeballs and an engagement to a man she may not be wholeheartedly in love with, Kiska finds herself in a desperate place, alongside a fellow who doesn’t meet their standards of beauty… Captain Oliver Whipjack (@phunkyfrog) was once a seafaring fellow in search of the fated Fountain of Youth. Disgusted by his greed, the goddess of the seas doomed him to forever seek his eternity as ferryman for the dead. Desperate to escape the neverending loop, Oliver watches the air tear brightly in two and a strange man fall to the deck of his ship… Virra Steele (@lumina_bellator) enjoyed the quiet farm life in the American south… until an invasion of energy-hungry aliens called the Varophyx began to lay claim to a helpless Earth, killing Virra’s family in the process. With nothing left to lose she enlists, and is endlessly promoted for her skill and ruthlessness even as Earth’s forces begin to dwindle. Pinned beneath a varophyx in battle, she finds herself suddenly pulled out of harm’s way by a face she doesn’t recognize… Spencer Mirren is mine — you know his lore. A strange hospital… void skin… un by @casecoded

FINALLY GAVE THEM A REFSHEET🦅 WAHOO!!! Kai and Lissy are the main characters of a story im working on with @miss_becca_noelle called The Inheritance!!! man who’s out here recruiting high schoolers to defeat inter dimensional nightmare monsters 😔😔 their grades are slipping🥀 kanjis are “blossom” and “wolf” respectively and i just thought they looked cool there tbh, thats the lore ✌️ KAI!!! he’s an old oc from my childhood who’s getting a fresh coat of paint… and unfortunately more trauma☠️ sorry bud. Kai is a bastard son, the school bully, star varsity pitcher with a mean fastball, and the embodiment of rage—a power he discovers shortly before Lissy moves to town, which manifests as a voracious red flame that will consume him if he lets it. LISSY!!! She’s the sun to Kai’s moon; a cheerful newcomer to Halespoke who also discovers strange powers! Hers manifest as beautiful auroras, blue and green ribbons of glimmering light — that dim when she is weakened, and conversely have incredible force when she is confident in herself. she’s really spiritually sensitive, and is the first one to realize something is WRONG with Halespoke, like a dark oppressive cloud of misery is hanging over everything. speedpaint; had to clip out like half of it bc the first couple hours are me doodling tomodatchi life Miles & Dark 😭 anyways enjoy :) got this new method of blobbing out the bodyshapes first and it fr helps me sketch better! u should try sometime ✌️ closeup mwah #artfight2026teamcomedy #artfight #teamcomedy #ocartist #ocartwork artfight, team comedy, baseball player, high school, character design, story development, refsheet, character dynamics etc by @casecoded
