Oc-tober day 18: environment study

So this low-key was irritating at first because I haven't rendered an organic background digitally since like freshman year college (about 2ish years)
But not bad. My only complaint is that Neo kinda looks like they're floating but oh well.

Sorry for the bad quality Instagram hates art

My picture I used for a color pallet is in the second photo

Anyways have a good day/night

Bye!!

Day 17: OCs Interacting

My lovely boyfriend @thelastkeymusic made us some Sailor Moon-sonas, so check out our cute epic enemies-to-lovers Sailor Ceres and Prince Aven! (Their ship name is Starcrossed ehehe)

The universe didn’t want me to post this one I fear. I’m having computer problems. They are evil machines.

Oc-tober day 17: Oc's interacting

Akuji is easily irritated and Kits constant questions and touches doesn't help (dw he eventually gets used to it).

Anyways I hope you have a good day/ night

Bye!!

OC-tober 17: OCs interacting
Didn’t draw today so here’s older art I haven’t posted outside of Artfol instead (mostly just to get it posted here already). So this shows Matthew helping Jeremy home, this is from an old story I havent worked on for yeears, we’re talking over a decade. So in short Jer got caught up in a gang’s shenanigans (wrote more about the scene, story, and characters on artfol) Matthew is the boss actually but showed up later then found them beating up Jeremy for no good reason, and stepped in and helped him home. Reason why Jeremy was even there was bc his friend James made him come with and he wants to be cool i guess and want an in with the gang. There’s a whole thing with him not daring to step in and letting them get at Jeremy until Matt shows up. This is stuff I wrote in like 2012

Drew this in July, just randomly wanted to draw some characters from this old story I probably worked most on around 2011-2013. I actually have very little of it still as I lost what i wrote in my phone back then (unless i find a way to export notes from it when the phone itself is broken and hard to access). It never had a proper title, just referred to it as "Krim" wich is the genre basically; a murder mystery.

When I drew this it was just how I remembered the scene, then when I actually found back to it in an old Word document there was some different details and also a bit different vibe and kinda underwhelming and short? I did write the paragraph out on this page but my old writing is so bad😭 a few things i like about this old story would be the character dynamics but most of it is cringe and badly written. I do like some deep lore i apparently hinted at that would be revealed later in the story.
I have some paragraphs in notebooks and that one document, but most of what I wrote for it was in my old phone and as good as only exists in my memory now.

The cast is rather big. These two are side characters actually but Jeremy is the brother of the main character (Stephenie)

Day 16: Pose Study/Figures

Perspective is SO difficult for me, my brain can't wrap around it. So I'm glad this prompt reminded me that I need to practice more.

Ft. The guy members of my book's band, Destroying Havoc! On top is Casey, bottom left is Ace, and bottom right is Vaughn :3

OC-tober 16: Pose study. His face looks a bit weird in the first one like he looks kinda mad.. Just drew Okaro bc I find it easy recently, drawing him so much. Happy with how the small doodles turned out without any references. The referenced ones tho was a lot harder especially the running one; redrew it multiple times bc the body was too big or the head too small etc. it still looks weird… but pose studies are fun

I’ve been meaning to practice full-body shots bc drawing just from the torso up for years has made me so bad at drawing proportionate bodies now :|

I didn’t get to refine them that much sadly, I need to draw more wolves to really get comfortable.
But hey, we’re past the half way mark! And I’ll have much more time to myself for the rest of the month to focus on inktober!

Oc-tober day 16: pose study/figures

This was quite fun actually so I will probably be doing more of these in the future

All the photo refs I used were found on Pinterest
(Sorry for the bad crop).

I figured I should do this one with Akuji since it's been a second.

Ok have a good day/evening!

Bye!!

Day 15: Refsheet

We're halfway there!!!

Glad this was a prompt! I've been meaning to make a proper ref sheet for Cassidy here, given that she's a very major figure in the story she's in.

All I had written down for this one was “plan ahead”. I did not plan ahead.
I pretend to know how to draw wings.
