We provide studio space to working artists!

We hope you're loving having Tabasom Marandiz (@girlsgotoheaven) in Live/Work Studio #2 just as much as we are! Specializing in watercolor, she creates paintings with themes that revolve around nostalgia, such as her personal memory, her identity as an Iranian American, and contemporary culture. She believes that the translucent, fluid quality of watercolor helps create a memory-like quality in her pieces, which supports the theme of nostalgia in her work. We can't wait to see what she makes in the studio next!

Meet Robbie Stafford (@loop.918 ) who has been making it happen in Studio 3 this summer! When we asked him about the work has been making, he said his goal is to create immersive experiences where visitors feel fully part of the piece, whether it’s through motion, music, or touch. He also hopes to to show people the process of building his work so audiences can experience how the work comes together. We are excited to see what Robbie creates next!!

We wanted to introduce you to our newest artists in residence starting with @stacybescoart in Work Studio F! "Visual storytelling has always been a part of my life, shaping the way I understand myself and the world around me. Inspired by my travels and everyday observations, my work explores themes of identity, culture, family, and belonging. As a Korean-American artist with a mixed cultural background, I draw from personal experiences to reflect on heritage, memory, and the complexities of navigating multiple spaces simultaneously." Be on the lookout for more on the other new faces in our studios over the coming weeks 👀
