Now that I’ve gotten your attention…let me reintroduce myself.👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽

I’m Cassandra Hamer.

I’m a creative architect, graphic designer, educator, author, business founder, and most importantly, a lover of Jesus.

I’ve spent more than a decade creating, designing, teaching, building brands, developing ideas, and figuring out how to turn the things in my head into something people can actually see, feel, and experience.

I’m the founder of @designelementary and @creativeplaygrnd , where I teach kids that creativity is more than making something pretty. It’s a way of thinking, solving problems, communicating, and seeing possibilities where other people might not. In short…. WE’RE SHIFTING THE EDUCATIONAL SPACE.

I’m also the founder of @unboxedtm , a creative agency and community designed to help people and brands bring their ideas to life. So any design or creative need you have… WE CAN DO IT!

From this I’ve launched @churchcre8tiveacademy a space for Christian creatives.

I’m a teacher.
A designer.
An author.
A creative strategist.
A business builder.
A Jesus girl.
A student.
A daughter.
A woman who has had to start over, pivot, learn, stretch, trust God, and keep going.

There are ideas I haven’t built yet. Books I haven’t written yet. Rooms I haven’t walked into yet. Children I haven’t taught yet. Businesses I haven’t built yet. People I haven’t impacted yet.

So if you’re new here, welcome.

And if you’ve been here for a while, you might be meeting a newer version of me. 👋🏽

Same creativity.
Same faith.
Same big ideas.

Just wiser, a lot more intentional, and finally realizing that I don’t have to shrink the vision just because it’s bigger than me.

We’re just getting started.

Im very content with hanging out with kids and teaching them all day, butttttt being the founder requires me to learn how to be a CEO or founder, whichever one you want to go with. @designelementary @creativeplaygrnd

I wrote my first of many books back in…. Idk.
I’ve launched 12+ more over the last year so head over to @designelementary for your kiddos parents and educators.

The goal is to combine the creative and education in a way that prepares kids for the future by @cassandra.hamer

There’s something so special about seeing a vision you prayed about become something children can actually experience. 🥹

When I look at this photo, I don’t just see a Design Elementary event. I see years of creativity, faith, hard work, learning, pivoting, and believing… all coming together in one moment.

I started Design Elementary with a simple belief: children deserve to see themselves as creators, not just consumers. And every time I watch a child engage with design, ask questions, create something of their own, or simply light up with excitement, I’m reminded why we started.

Sometimes you have to pause and realize… wow, look how far we’ve come.

This journey hasn’t looked exactly how I imagined it would. There have been pivots, challenges, moments of uncertainty, and plenty of “God, are we really doing this?” moments. 😂 But there have also been so many confirmations that remind me we’re on the right path.

And honestly? I feel like we’re just getting started. 👀
There is SO much more ahead for Design Elementary

I’m grateful for what has been built.
I’m excited about what’s coming.
And I’m trusting God with every step in between. 💛
The best is still being designed.

As your head into your NEW week (emphasis on the new) remember this: you have an opportunity to do, be, think in a way you haven’t before.

I was speaking to my mother the other day and I said these words “SEE YOUR FUTURE” we were talking about what we allow into our 5 senses and the importance of right association.

What I watch, must aid my future.
What I listen to, must aid my future.
Who I spend time with, must aid my future.
Who I listen to, must aid my future.
What I eat, must aid my future.
What I think, must aid my future.
Who I follow, must aid my future.
What I wear, must aid my future.
Who mentors me, must aid my future.

Catching the drift?
I’m not saying be hyper focus on the future but I AM saying THERE IS MORE and it’s your responsibility to watch over what aids or not aids your future.

Creatives are explorers by nature so as a leader of creatives, it’s never our responsibility to manage them or even their creativity.

Our responsibility is giving them the room to become better creatives which then creates a better team.
