I’ve been a bit mia lately, so here are some snaps from last year:
1. Columbia River Maritime Museum (we spent 3 hours here as Oliver went deep into every exhibit).
2, 3, 4. The boardwalk and dock fowling in Olympia on two separate occasions. I always have to stop and say hi to the creatures on the posts below.
5. Hot summer days swimming and paddle boarding in Dorena Lake.
6. A little summer hike at Silver Falls State Park.
7. A break outside of Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Earlier this week we said goodbye to Turbo. For the past 15 years he’s been our constant companion as we roadtripped to campsites and beaches all over the west coast. He outlasted his three four-legged siblings to be the last pet standing, sucking up all the scritches from a family that loved him. He slept, he snorted, he borked, and he cuddled until he just couldn’t anymore. Goodbye, Turbo. by @cassandrayost
