🌲📸 Taking a trip back to 1997 at the California State Fair, where the Forest Center offered fairgoers a chance to step into nature and learn more about California’s beautiful forests. 🌲🌞

The Forest Center helped educate visitors about the importance of trees, forest conservation, and the many ways forests provide for our everyday lives. From showcasing forest products and the value of renewable resources to encouraging environmental awareness, it brought a little piece of California’s great outdoors right into the heart of the Fair. 🌎🌲

Known for its shady grove of native California trees, educational experiences, and even opportunities for visitors to take home a free tree seedling, the Forest Center was more than just an exhibit — it was a place to connect with nature, learn something new, and appreciate the importance of protecting our forests for future generations. 🌱💚

Looking back nearly three decades, these photos are a wonderful reminder of the people, places, and experiences that made the California State Fair special. A little piece of history preserved in time! ❤️📷
