ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to work outside. It was through the gift of education and learning that I realized the perfect job for me is being a park ranger. I gained my love of the outdoors from my parents, who would force me to go camping at least twice a year. While I complained like every other kid who just wanted to play on their ds, I am forever thankful for how this shaped me as a person. This week, the government fired 3,400 workers from U.S Forest Service and 1,000 from the National Park Service. While this might not seem alarming, most parks only have ONE TO THREE RANGERS. This is not about politics, it is about having a world where we can protect animals and ourselves. If we have no land, WE HAVE NO FOOD. Because of this, our world is in danger. Rangers who completed trail maintenance, conserved the land, educated visitors, prevent wildfires and serve our country have been terminated. Many parks have announced temporary closure, and multiple wildfires have been reported since the firing. Please educate everyone you can to save our parks. Your grandchildren deserve to see the world as we do. Do not take nature away from them. A donation link is in my bio. taken in Yellowstone National Park by @cat.hendricks_
