WE ARE BACK FOR YEAR THREE @symmetryfestival !! WITH EVEN MORE SPECIALTY ACTS!!

and I’ve gotta say I cannot wait to share what our team is cooking up.
I’ll give you a hint. Think duo acts, lyra burlesque, one very Shy Guy … and so many more creatures of the night and of the eleven woods.

The Mad Teahouse is going to be overrun with magic pouring out of the rift in forms of fae beings and nerdy characters. And not only that, we’ve got a major upgrade in our stage this year. Come find us at our new location deep in the woods (hints to come where!).

We are also still looking for more roaming characters: is this you? Tag your friends and follow for more information about the Mad Teahouse at Symmetry! taken in Symmetry Music & Arts Festival by @catalyzed_void

Come join us and escape the world, dance under celestial skies on a dance floor where wild nature and the digital world collides, for a night of joy and rebellion!!!

Organizing this event has been a labor of love and community collaboration!! What began as a desire to shine the spotlight on my friends in Heathen Madjesty, has turned into so much more!! So many people came together for this and that’s a powerful reminder to me that I hope can be a powerful reminder to everyone else.

Everything we do best, we do together. Our joy, our liberation, our ability to endure and adapt through hardship — all of it is done best when we do it together. See you under the stars✨ taken in Depot House by @catalyzed_void

the last four months have been a whirlwind of pain and grief. thankfully, i’m surrounded by people who helped me find moments of joy along the way. perhaps more so, i’m grateful for the people who showed up to support me when it wasn’t fun, when i couldn’t be moved to smile, when all i could do was weep and ask questions no one could answer, when i was shaking too much to pick up my uhaul, when i was screaming for peace in my driveway or sobbing out back of the event i’d planned before my life fell apart. i don’t have pictures of you all but ill never forget you.

for those who may not know, i suffered an enormous betrayal in march and ended my relationship of over 13 years. the separation was messy and at times it was also humiliating. i feel like a newborn 34 year old, full of heartbreak and hope for the future. the past becomes painfully clear, for once i have no idea what the future holds but i know that the present is finally feeling secure.

if you’ve been missing me, please reach out. i’m not my bubbly, first to reach out and make plans, self right now but crave company. especially of those who truly care. let’s catch up on life and maybe even have a laugh. taken in Fairfield, Iowa by @catalyzed_void
