Excited to teach for Adult’s Dance Hackney this Wednesday 6:45-8pm at The Round Chapel Old Rooms, Clapton 🌱

Cat will draw from her experience and research into release-based dance practices to encourage fluid-limbed movement in and out of the floor. Guided by nature imbedded imagery as a current, an underscore for improvisation, movers are invited to expand the possibility of what movement and landscape can be. Cultivating a relationship to breath and ground, movers will then travel across the space in phrases that seed and flourish in dynamic emergence. Come as you are and find ways to be both porous and curious whilst moving. Then take this feeling out and beyond the studio into your week.

No need to book. £12 drop in or £40 for 4 classes. @orlandaotley @galit.criden @old_school_rooms #adultsdanceclass #hackneydance

CI50 celebration at Goldsmith University in the Great Hall 🌀

A couple of months ago I was involved in helping @alessandri_simo_ at the 50 years of contact improvisation event organised by the London contact improvisation community.

It was such a wonderful two day event - witnessing space become tangible and bodies ebbing and flowing in the most playful group consciousness.
