POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Next Saturday, 24 June! We host two special Outdoor Childrens Creative Contemporary classes with Cat Jones.

Our Infants and Junior classes will jon Cat to explore the natural world and our place in it; rolling, spinning and jumping into adventures outside! This one-off session will encourage curiosity and physical agency when moving outdoors. We will work with embodying nature and seasonal shifts through storytelling, improvisation and phrases.

Book for Infants at 9.30am or Juniors at 10.30am - we have a few extra spaces!
👉 Head to our bio to book.

Just 10 days left until the ReWild & ReVive workshop and I’m so excited. This is a first for me - collaborating with these 3 amazing people and exploring how our work meshes together. It will definitely be a huge learning experience for all of us - learning from each other, finding connections between our practices and delving into the foundations of moving and being in Nature. I’m also so excited to meet all of the people who are signed up already and to follow each of them on this ride. If you’re not signed up yet and you’re sitting on the fence, we still have a couple of spaces left open - send me a message and I’ll give you all the details. If you’re worried about the cost, please send me a message, money shouldn’t be a barrier to well-being. Oh, and if you’re struggling to find a good valentine’s gift for that special someone this year, why not treat them to a couples day at our workshop? It’s the day before Valentine’s Day after all, and I’m sure you’ll both leave feeling WILD!

So grateful for the wonderful people who showed up to move and practice with me, and for the reflections and learning that came out of it. Teaching was pure joy and I hope that you all had half as much fun as I did!

Such a pleasure to finally be back hosting live workshops again!

Sharing a practice
.
There’s something really very wonderful about sharing space and time to practice movement together, with friends, with family, or with a partner. In my opinion, something emerges from the physical language of effort and play that creates social connection in a really deep and meaningful way that is difficult to foster through verbal and non physical means. I feel this stems back to ancestral roots in dancing around the fire and bonding over the hard work of nomadic lifestyles, foraging and hunting together, and the sheer physicality of ancestral lifestyles. Working hard together taps into not only our individual need for movement, but a collective one as well.
.
Looking forwards to a time when we get move and train together in groups again, but for now, bubble dances are nourishing places to explore.
